Abstract

Dengan perkiraan umur pabrik 25 tahun didapatkan Internal Rate Return (IRR) sebesar 21,53%; Pay Out Time (POT) sebesar 5,35; Break Event Point (BEP) sebesar 33,40%.

The largest percentage of energy consumption is currently dominated by fuel which is inversely proportional to the availability of fuel itself. Based on the Regulation of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources No. 32 of 2008, the Government stipulates the obligation to start the use of biofuels such as biodiesel, bioethanol, and pure vegetable oil as fuel mixtures. Bagasse is a lignocellulose material that can be used as a raw material for bioethanol. Bioethanol made from Bagasse is an effort to meet energy needs while minimizing people's dependence on the use of fossil fuels. This factory will be established in Pesantren District, Kediri Regency, East Java, and start operating in 2026 with a capacity of 30,000 kL per year. Capital is obtained with a ratio of 40% Own Capital and 60% Loan Capital. Based on economic analysis studies, it was concluded that the estimated capital assessment (CAPEX) was Rp. 1.184.031.928.450,12 and operating costs (OPEX) of Rp. 441.431.235.861. With the estimated factory age and loan payment periods of 25 years, obtained Internal Rate Return (IRR) of 21,53%; Pay Out Time (POT) of 5,35 years; Break Event Point (BEP) of 33,40% Based on social aspects, the construction of this factory will provide job opportunities that can reduce unemployment in East Java, especially Kediri City. Meanwhile, in terms of the environment, this plant can reduce bagasse waste by 334,821.43 tons per year. Thus, based on the aspects of economic and technical assessment, the Bioethanol Plant made from bagasse sugarcane is feasible to be established.
