Abstract

teknologi informasi (TI) di PT PLN Nusantara Power (PT PLN NP) sangat penting sehingga penggunaan teknologi informasi harus dipastikan selalu berjalan lancar agar tetap berjalan normal proses bisnis perusahaan terkait TI. Salah satu upaya untuk memastikan TI berjalan dengan lancar dan tidak mengganggu proses bisnis perusahaan yaitu dengan melakukan perencanaan keberlangsungan bisnis atau Business Continuity Plan (BCP). Business Continuity Plan (BCP) adalah metodologi yang digunakan untuk membuat dan memvalidasi rencana pengelolaan operasi bisnis berkelanjutan sebelum, selama, dan setelah terjadi suatu bencana atau peristiwa yang mengganggu. Pada penelitian ini membahas mengenai pembuatan dokumen Perencanaan Keberlangsungan Bisnis pada PT PLN Nusantara Power. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dan melakukan penilaian risiko terkait teknologi informasi PT PLN Nusantara Power dan mengevaluasi setiap tahapan metodologi pembuatan BCP yang telah dibuat oleh Silmie. Penelitian tugas akhir ini meghasilkan adanya temuan-temuan dalam pengimplementasian metodologi BCP pada PT PLN Nusantara Power. Temuannya yaitu sebanyak 19 aktivitas dalam metodologi BCP yang dikembangkan Silmie dapat dilakukan,, 11 aktivitas dapat dilakukan dengan penyesuaian, dan 5 aktivitas tidak dapat dilakukan karena keterbatasan waktu dari penelitian ini dan ruang lingkup dari penelitian ini hanya sampai pembuatan dokumen.

The role of information technology (IT) at PT PLN Nusantara Power (PT PLN NP) is very important so that the use of information technology must be ensured to always run smoothly so that the company's business processes related to IT can continue to run normally. One of the efforts to ensure IT runs smoothly and does not interfere with the company's business processes is by conducting a Business Continuity Plan (BCP). Business Continuity Plan (BCP) is a methodology used to create and validate a sustainable business operations management plan before, during, and after a disaster or disruptive event occurs. This study discusses the making of a Business Continuity Plan document at PT PLN Nusantara Power (PT PLN NP). The purpose of this study is to identify and conduct a risk assessment related to the information technology of PT PLN Nusantara Power and evaluate each stage of the BCP manufacturing methodology that has been made by Silmie. This final project research resulted in findings in the implementation of BCP methodology at PT PLN Nusantara Power. The findings were 19 activities in the BCP methodology developed by Silmie, 11 activities could be carried out by adjustment, and 5 activities could not be carried out due to the time limitations of this study and the scope of this study only to document creation.
