Abstract

Polyethylene adalah plastik yang banyak digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Polietilena berasal dari polimerisasi ethana (C2H4), dengan rumus molekul (C2H4)n. . Ada berbagai jenis polyethylene, yaitu High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) dan Linier Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE). Jenis polyethylene yang paling banyak dibutuhkan dari tahun 2016-2020 adalah LLDPE (Linear Low Density Polyethylene), yaitu sebanyak 52,4% dan diperkirakan pertumbuhan pasar akan meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. Maka dari itu, pabrik LLDPE direncanakan memiliki kapasitas sebesar 100.000 ton/tahun, sehingga dapat memenuhi kebutuhan LLDPE di Indonesia. Lokasi pendirian pabrik LLDPE direncanakan berdiri di Cilegon, Banten dengan pertimbangan dekat dengan sumber bahan baku, tersedianya sarana penunjang utilitas, dekat dengan laut untuk memudahkan transportasi pemasaran produk, dan mudah dijangkau pangsa regional. LLDPE (Linear Low Density Polyethylene) dapat diproduksi melalui proses polimerisasi ethylene dengan tiga proses yaitu gas phase, solution polymerization, dan slurry polimeryzation. Proses pembuatan LLDPE berlangsung dengan fase gas di mana gas disirkulasikan melalui reactor sementara polimer meninggalkan bed reactor untuk regenerasi gas di separator. Bahan baku yang digunakan adalah etilen, hydrogen, komonomer, katalis, dan ko-katalis. Dari perhitungan analisa ekonomi diperoleh nilai IRR sebesar 28,84% per tahun. Harga IRR yang diperoleh pada pabrik ini lebih besar dari bungan pinjaman yatu sebesar 28,84% dari 9.25% per tahunnya. Didapatkan Total Capital Invesment (TCI) sebesar Rp1.328.408.014.665,70 dengan rincian Fixed Capital Investment (FCI) sebesar Rp1.129.146.812.465,85 dan Working Capital Investment (WCI) sebesar Rp199.261.202.199,86 Sedangkan Total Production Cost (TPC) sebesar Rp1.329.747.139.565,2. Jika dipertimbangkan dari aspek analisa ekonomi serta teknis, pabrik Linier Low Density Polyethylene dengan Kapasitas 100.000 Ton/Tahun ini layak didirikan.

The type of polyethylene most needed from 2016-2020 is LLDPE (Linear Low Density Polyethylene), which is as much as 52.4% and it is estimated that market growth will increase from year to year. Therefore, the LLDPE factory is planned to have a capacity of 100,000 tons/year, so that it can meet the demand for LLDPE in Indonesia. The location for the LLDPE factory is planned to be in Cilegon, Banten with considerations being close to sources of raw materials, availability of utility support facilities, close to the sea to facilitate product marketing transportation, and easy access to regional markets. LLDPE (Linear Low Density Polyethylene) can be produced through ethylene polymerization process with three processes, namely gas phase, solution polymerization, and slurry polymerization. The LLDPE manufacturing process takes place in the gas phase where the gas is circulated through the reactor while the polymer leaves the reactor bed for gas regeneration in the separator. The raw materials used are ethylene, hydrogen, comonomers, catalysts, and co-catalysts. From the calculation of economic analysis, the IRR value is 28.84% per year. The IRR price obtained at this factory is greater than the loan interest, which is 28.84% from 9.25% per year. Total Capital Investment (TCI) was obtained in the amount of IDR 1,328,408,014,665.70 with details of Fixed Capital Investment (FCI) of IDR 1,129,146,812,465.85 and Working Capital Investment (WCI) of IDR 199,261,202,199.86 while the Total Production Cost (TPC) was IDR 1,329,747,139,565. 2.
