Abstract

Salah satu jenis mobil Nogogeni ITS Team ialah Mobil Urban Electric yang sering digunakan dalam Kontes Mobil Hemat Energi (KMHE). Beberapa startegi yang digunakan untuk mengikuti lomba diantaranya adalah Mobil memiliki massa yang ringan dan waktu pergantian roda yang singkat. Saat ini, rangkaian kaki depan memiliki massa 2.135,75 gram dan untuk pergantian roda membutuhkan waktu 765 detik. Proyek Akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi massa sistem kaki depan dengan mengganti bahan poros dari baja ST-37 menjadi Alumunium 7075 T-6. Selain itu, rangkaian sistem kaki depan juga diubah untuk mempersingkat waktu pergantian roda. Selanjutnya desain baru sistem kaki depan ini akan diuji kekuatannya melalui perhitungan teoritis dan diverifikasi dengan Software. Hasil Analisa menunjukkan bahwa dengan bahan Alumunium 7075 T-6 dapat menahan beban yang terjadi. Tegangan geser maksimum yang diterima poros ialah 62,38 MPa, dan Equivalent Von Misses Stress sebesar 108,04 MPa. Waktu pergantian roda hanya 50 detik dan massa sistem kaki depan desain baru hanya 2.117,3 gram.

One of the types of cars from Nogogeni ITS Team is the Urban Electric Car, which is often used in the Energy Efficient Car Contest (KMHE). Some strategies used to participate in the competition include having a lightweight car and a quick wheel replacement Teame. Currently, the front leg assembly has a mass of 2,135.75 grams, and the wheel replacement takes 765 seconds. This Final Project aims to reduce the mass of the front leg system by replacing the material of the shaft from ST-37 steel to Aluminum 7075 T-6. Additionally, the front leg system configuration is modified to shorten the wheel replacement Teame. The new design of the front leg system will be tested for its strength through theoretical calculations and verified with software. The analysis results indicate that using Aluminum 7075 T-6 as the material can withstand the applied load. The maximum shear stress the shaft can withstand is 62.38 MPa, and the Equivalent Von Misses Stress is 108.04 MPa. The wheel replacement Teame is reduced to only 50 seconds, and the mass of the new front leg system design is 2,117.3 grams.
