Abstract

Proyeksi penduduk Kalimantan Selatan semakin meningkat tiap tahunnya.

South Kalimantan's population is increasing every year. This province is planned to become the buffer zone for the Ibu Kota Negara (IKN) Nusantara. Banjarbaru, the capital city of South Kalimantan, is considered one of the potential areas to become a center of economic growth. The Syamsudin Noor Airport area is also predicted to become a center for strategic activities in South Kalimantan. In the future, it has the potential to cause traffic congestion. High passenger demand also occurred in Banjarmasin and Martapura.
Based on Rencana Induk Perkeretaapian Nasional (RIPNAS) 2030, the government planned to build a railway between Banjarmasin, Syamsudin Noor Airport, Banjarbaru, and Martapura. Trains are expected to be a solution that can answer the need for alternative modes of transportation between regions. Currently, the geometric design of the railway is not available yet. Therefore, it is necessary to design the railway track based on the topographical conditions and existing requirements.
The methods used in this design are data collection, selection of alternative track, geometric design including horizontal and vertical alignment, railroad construction planning, emplacements and platforms planning, shop drawings, and budget calculation based on government regulations related. In this design, AutoCAD Civil 3D and several other auxiliary programs were used.
This Final Project results in a 42,940 km long railroad with a 100 km/hour design speed and consists of at-grade and elevated construction. There are 15 horizontal curves with a radius of 1660 meters for Full-Circle and 560 meters for Spiral-Circle-Spiral. Railroad construction is categorized as class I with a 1435 mm gauge width and double track type. The type of rail used is 141RE with S-35 concrete sleepers from PT. WIKA Beton and using KA Clip bollards. The ballast is 30 cm thick, and the sub-ballast is 45 cm. The budget required for the construction is IDR31.333.291.269.000,00.
