Abstract

Pabrik pembuatan green diesel dari Palm Fatty Acid Distillate (PFAD) dilakukan melalui proses hidrodeoksigenasi. Pabrik green diesel dari PFAD ini direncanakan dibangun dengan kapasitas 112.000 ton/tahun sepanjang 330 hari per tahun. Pabrik ini diharapkan akan menghasilkan green diesel untuk memenuhi kebutuhan biodiesel nasional. Bahan baku yang digunakan dalam pembuatan pabrik biodiesel adalah Palm Fatty Acid Distillate (PFAD) yang merupakan produk samping dari pemurnian CPO. Pabrik ini direncanakan akan dibangun di Provinsi Kalimantan Timur, hal ini telah dipertimbangkan melalui beberapa aspek diantarnya adalah ketersediaan Bahan Baku. Hidrodeoksigenasi akan dilakukan pada suhu 300oC dan pada tekanan 30 atm menggunakan reaktor Fixed Bed Multitube dengan tingkat konversi reaksi 98% untuk hidrodeoksigenasi. Dari studi evaluasi ekonomi pabrik ini, disimpulkan bahwa didapatkan penaksiran modal (CAPEX) sebesar Rp Rp2,042,471,031,747; biaya operasional (OPEX) sebesar Rp 2,008,339,504,306. Berdasarkan analisa ekonomi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pabrik biodiesel dengan kapasitas 112.000 ton/tahun adalah layak secara ekonomis. Berdasarkan analisa ekonomi terhadap pabrik ini menunjukkan laju pengembalian modal (IRR) didapatkan sebesar 18.99% dengan waktu pengembalian modal (POT) selama 3,73 tahun. NPV yang didapatkan juga bernilai positif yaitu Rp 5,249,684,947,711. Dari data analisa kelayakan di atas disimpulkan bahwa pabrik ini menguntungkan dan layak untuk didirikan.

The green diesel manufacturing plant from Palm Fatty Acid Distillate (PFAD) is carried out through a hydrodeoxygenation process. The green diesel plant from PFAD is planned to be built with a capacity of 112,000 tonnes/year for 330 days per year. The factory is expected to produce green diesel to meet national biodiesel needs. The raw material used in the manufacture of biodiesel plants is Palm Fatty Acid Distillate (PFAD), which is a by-product of CPO refining. This factory is planned to be built in East Kalimantan Province, this has been considered through several aspects including the availability of raw materials. Hydrodeoxygenation will be carried out at a temperature of 300oC and at a pressure of 30 atm using a Fixed Bed Multitube reactor with a reaction conversion rate of 98% for hydrodeoxygenation. From this factory economic evaluation study, it was concluded that the estimated capital (CAPEX) was Rp. Rp. 2,042,471,031,747; operational costs (OPEX) of IDR 2,008,339,504,306. Based on the economic analysis, it can be concluded that a biodiesel plant with a capacity of 112,000 tons/year is economically feasible. Based on the economic analysis of this factory, the rate of return on investment (IRR) is 18.99% with a payback period (POT) of 3.73 years. The NPV obtained is also positive, namely IDR 5,249,684,947,711. From the feasibility analysis data above it is concluded that this factory is profitable and feasible to establish.
