Abstract

Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara dengan negara berkembang yang banyak membutuhkan energi. Kebutuhan energi nasional hingga tahun 2050 terus meningkat sesuai dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi, penduduk, harga energi, dan kebijakan pemerintah. Kebutuhan energi Indonesia meningkat dari 795 juta SBM pada tahun 2016 menjadi 4.569 juta SBM pada tahun 2050. Indonesia masih bergantung pada energi tidak terbarukan. Pengolahan flue gas dari pabrik semen menjadi cara yang cukup solutif untuk mengurangi angka emisi CO2. Dimana, selain mengurangi angka emisi juga dapat menghasilkan produk yang dapat dijual dan menghasilkan keuntungan. Salah satu pabirk yang menghasilkan CO2 dari pabrik semen adalah PT Tonasa. Letak geografis dari suatu pabrik sendiri sangat berpengaruh terhadap kelangsungan suatu pabrik tersebut. Oleh sebab itu, terdapat beberapa faktor yang harus dipertimbangkan untuk menentukan lokasi pabrik secara teknis dan ekonomis. Dasar pemilihan lokasi pabrik “DESAIN PABRIK PRECIPITATED CALCIUM CARBONAT (PCC) DENGAN PEMANFAATAN CO2 FLUE GAS DARI PLANT SEMEN” antara lain: sumber bahan baku, pemasaran, penyediaan tenaga listrik, penyediaan air, jenis trasnportasi, kebutuhan tenaga kerja, perluasan area pabrik, keadaan masyarakat, karakteristik lokasi, kebijakan pemerintah, dan buangan pabrik.

Indonesia is one of the developing countries that requires a lot of energy. National energy demand until 2050 will continue to increase by economic growth, population, energy prices, and government policies. Indonesia's energy needs have increased from 795 million BOE in 2016 to 4,569 million BOE in 2050. Currently, the energy supply is still supported by the oil and gas sector. Indonesia still depends on non-renewable energy. `Processing of flue gas from cement factories is a fairly solutive way to reduce CO2 emissions. Where, apart from reducing emission figures, it can also produce products that can be sold and generate profits. One of the factories that produce CO2 from the cement factory is PT Tonasa. The geographical location of a factory itself is very influential on the continuity of a factory. Therefore, several factors must be considered to determine the location of the factory technically and economically. The basis for selecting the location of the factory "PLANT DESIGN OF PRECIPITATED CALCIUM CARBONATE (PCC) FACTORY WITH UTILIZATION OF CO2 FLUE GAS FROM CEMENT PLANT" includes raw material sources, marketing, electricity supply, water supply, type of transportation, labor requirements, expansion of factory area, community conditions, site characteristics, government policies, and factory waste.
