Abstract

In the plant system, a Li-Po 3300 mAh battery is used, and measurements or monitoring are conducted to determine the State of Charge (SOC) of the battery's capacity in percentage form, representing the value (%) of the process from full charge to discharge when the battery is in use. The State of Health (SOH) of this battery plant is determined using the voltage method. The sensors employed in this plant include a voltage sensor, a current sensor, and a temperature sensor. The voltage sensor in this plant utilizes a DC voltage sensor with a measurement range of 0-25V. The current sensor in this plant employs an ACS712 AC/DC current sensor with a measurement range of 0-5A, while the temperature sensor is a DS18B20 with a measurement range of -55°C to +125°C. Validation is conducted for each sensor used. The voltage sensor validation yields a correction error value of 2.74% and an accuracy level of 97.02%. The current sensor validation results in a correction error measurement of 0.56% and an accuracy level of 99.44%. Additionally, the DS18B20 temperature sensor validation generates a correction error value of 4.74% and an accuracy level of 95.26%, which is close to the specifications provided in the datasheet, indicating that this sensor performs well and aligns with expectations. The testing results of the system over a 16-hour period in this battery plant demonstrate that the SOC can function and successfully monitor the battery's condition, starting from a full charge of 98% until the alarm warning system is triggered at 20% capacity. The State of Health (SOH) monitoring in this battery plant also effectively tracks the battery's temperature drop in accordance with the battery's condition.
