Abstract

Pengembangan desa wisata menjadi salah satu alternatif dalam upaya peningkatan perekonomian wilayah pedesaan. Dengan menggali potensi alam desa maupun kearifan lokal masyarakat pedesaan, dapat menjadikan wilayah pedesaan berkembang menjadi daya tarik wisata yang memberikan manfaat untuk masyarakat setempat. Salah satu desa wisata yang terus melakukan perkembangan ialah Desa Wisata Jambu di Kabupaten Kediri Jawa Timur. Pengembangan desa wisata ini akan berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan yang akan diterima Desa Wisata Jambu. Disamping itu, masih terdapat beberapa permasalahan pengembangan Desa Wisata Jambu ini adalah terkait pemenuhan fasilitas pendukung pariwisata, pemberdayaan masyarakat dan keterlibatan masyarakat dalam proses pengembangan Desa Wisata Jambu. Maka dari itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab permasalahan yang ada dengan merumuskan arahan pengembangan Desa Wisata Jambu berbasis Community-Based Tourism.
Penelitian ini tergolong kedalam jenis penelitian campuran (kuantitaif-kualitatif). Sasaran pertama didapatkan melalui analisis deskriptif kualitatif untuk mendapatkan karakteristik Desa Wisata Jambu dan analisis pembobotan untuk memperdalam gambaran mengenai tingkat partisipasi masyarakat eksisting. Sasaran kedua menggunakan metode analisis faktor dengan menggunakan kriteria nilai KMO dan MSA untuk mendapatkan variabel yang berpengaruh. Dan untuk memenuhi sasaran terakhir, arahan pengembangan dirumuskan dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif yang mengkomparasikan hasil sasaran satu dan sasaran kedua dengan tinjauan kebijakan atau best practice wilayah lain, serta pendapat stakeholder. Sasaran pertama pada penelitian ini menghasilkan karakteristik Desa Wisata Jambu yang ditinjau berdasarkan variabel hasil sintesa pustaka yang dilakukan peneliti. Sasaran kedua menghasilkan 16 variabel yang dianggap berpengaruh terhadap pengembangan Desa Wisata Jambu melalui pendekatan CBT. Selanjutnya, analisis pada sasaran ketiga menghasilkan 16 poin arahan pengembangan terkait dimensi lingkungan dan budaya, 7 poin arahan pengembangan terkait dimensi sosial, dan 6 poin arahan pengembangan terkait dimensi politik.

The development of tourism villages is one of the alternatives in an effort to improve the economy of rural areas. By exploring the natural potential of the village and the local wisdom of rural communities, it can make rural areas develop into tourist attractions that provide benefits to the local community. One of the tourist villages that continues to develop is Jambu Tourism Village in Kediri Regency, East Java. The development of this tourist village will affect the income that will be received by Jambu Tourism Village. In addition, there are still several problems in the development of Jambu Tourism Village, which are related to the fulfillment of tourism support facilities, community empowerment and community involvement in the process of developing Jambu Tourism Village. Therefore, this research aims to answer the existing problems by formulating directions for the development of Jambu Tourism Village based on Community-Based Tourism.
This research is classified as a mixed research type (quantitative-qualitative). The first objective was obtained through qualitative descriptive analysis to obtain the characteristics of Jambu Tourism Village and weighting analysis to deepen the description of the existing level of community participation. The second objective uses the factor analysis method using the KMO and MSA value criteria to obtain influential variables. And to fulfill the last objective, development directions were formulated using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques that compared the results of objective one and objective two with policy reviews or best practices of other regions, as well as stakeholder opinions.
The first objective of this research produced the characteristics of Jambu Tourism Village based on the variables from the literature synthesis conducted by the researcher. The second objective produced 16 variables that were considered influential in the development of Jambu Tourism Village through the CBT approach. Furthermore, the analysis in the third objective produced 16 development direction points related to the environmental and cultural dimensions, 7 development direction points related to the social dimension, and 6 development direction points related to the political dimension.
