Abstract

Energi Listrik merupakan energi yang paling banyak digunakan oleh masyarakat Indonesia. Prediksi penggunaan listrik di wilayah urban akan meningkat seiring bertambahnya populasi terutama bangunan komersial, penggunaan listrik mencapai 60-70% jumlah total energi, yang didominasi oleh penggunaan AC, dan lampu. Penggunaan AC diperlukan untuk memenuhi tuntutan kenyamanan ruang untuk melakukan kegiatan yang bertolak belakang dengan suhu iklim tropis lembab yang panas dan kelembaban tinggi. Menggunakan kantor sewa sebagai objek rancang yang memiliki jumlah pengunjung besar dan konsisten dibantu dengan prinsip passive & active cooling, dan uji simulasi kondisi lingkungan untuk mengatasi permasalahan kenyamanan ruang dan mengurangi penggunaan energi listrik yang dibutuhkan. Menggunakan konsep arsitektur fototaksis yang berbasis kepada respon radiasi dan suhu matahari untuk membentuk massa dan konfigurasi tatanan ruang untuk menghasilkan Kantor Sewa yang sehat dan Hemat Energi.

Electricity is the most widely used energy source by the Indonesian population. The prediction is that electricity usage in urban areas will increase with the growing population, particularly in commercial buildings, where electricity accounts for 60-70% of the total energy consumption, dominated by the use of air conditioning (AC) and lighting. AC usage is necessary to meet the comfort requirements of indoor spaces, which contradicts the hot and humid tropical climate. By utilizing a rental office as a design object with a large and consistent number of visitors, aided by the principles of passive and active cooling, and conducting environmental simulation tests, the aim is to address the comfort issues and reduce the required electricity usage. Employing the architectural concept of Phototaxis, which is based on the response to radiation and solar temperature, the design aims to form the mass and spatial configuration of the rental office in order to create a healthy and energy-efficient environment.
