Abstract

Gas alam di Indonesia memiliki potensi yang tinggi mengingat potensi cadangan gas lebih besar dari minyak bumi. Penggunaan renewable energi pada tahun 2014 hanya 5,7% akan ditingkatkan sesuai target pada 2025 menjadi 17% . Salah satu usaha pemerintah dalam mengoptimalkan gas alam ini adalah pembangunan jaringan distribusi gas alam. Selain Gas Alam , Biogas sumber energi ramah lingkungan yang dapat digunakan untuk memasak, menghasilkan listrik, memecahkan krisis energi dan iklim global di masa depan . Namun, distribusi gas alam dan biogas terbatas hanya dapat dinikmati oleh daerah tertentu saja. Hal ini masih kurang efisien dalam penggunaannya. Sehingga diperlukan inovasi distribusi gas alam ke dalam storage tank (portable) agar dapat memperluas pemanfaatan gas. Oleh karena itu, pada penelitian Tugas Akhir ini dirancang Sistem Monitoring Tekanan Pada Plant Pengisian Gas dalam upaya pemanfaatan bahan bakar gas alam. Sistem monitoring tekanan pada plant pengisian gas menggunakan pressure transmitter G1/4 untuk mengukur tekanan gas pada gas storage tank, pressure transmitter G1/4 memiliki persentase error sebesar 1,15% dan tingkat akurasi sebesar 98,85%. selanjutnya hasil pengukuran tersebut akan ditampilkan pada Human Machine Interface (HMI). Selain itu pada HMI, user dapat menginputkan Set Point tekanan sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Sehingga dapat mempermudah user dalam penggunaan plant pengisian gas. Ketika tekanan telah mencapai Set Point maka controller akan secara otomatis menutup solenoid valve dan kompresor akan non-active secara otomatis. Sehingga dengan adanya sistem monitoring tekanan pada plant pengisian gas ini dapat meningkatkan pemanfaatan gas alam dalam rumah tangga. Selain itu, data Riwayat pada saat pengisian gas juga ter-record dalam googlesheet. Diharapkan, tugas Akhir ini dapat memanfaatkan gas alam secara maksimal guna mendukung program pemerintah transisi energi fosil ke renewable energy.

Natural gas in Indonesia has a high potential considering the potential for gas reserves is greater than oil. The use of renewable energy in 2014 was only 5.7% and will be increased according to the target in 2025 to 17%. One of the government's efforts to optimize natural gas is the construction of a natural gas distribution network. In addition to Natural Gas, Biogas is an environmentally friendly energy source that can be used for cooking, generating electricity, solving the global energy and climate crisis in the future. However, the distribution of natural gas and biogas is limited to certain regions. It is still less efficient in its use. So that it is necessary to innovate the distribution of natural gas into storage tanks (portable) in order to expand the utilization of gas. Therefore, in this Final Project research a Pressure Monitoring System for Gas Filling Plants is designed in an effort to utilize natural gas as fuel. The pressure monitoring system at the gas filling plant uses a G1/4 pressure transmitter to measure gas pressure in the gas storage tank, the G1/4 pressure transmitter has an error percentage of 1.15% and an accuracy rate of 98.85%. then the measurement results will be displayed on the Human Machine Interface (HMI). In addition to that on the HMI, the user can input the pressure Set Point as needed. So that it can facilitate the user in using the gas filling plant. When the pressure reaches the Set Point, the controller will automatically close the solenoid valve and the compressor will deactivate automatically. So that the presence of a pressure monitoring system at the gas filling plant can increase the utilization of natural gas in the household. In addition, historical data at the time of gas filling is also recorded on the Google Sheet. It is hoped that this Final Project can make maximum use of natural gas to support the government's program of transitioning from fossil energy to renewable energy.
