Abstract
Kuadran kedua, yang disebut "keep up the good work", mencakup empat variabel: rambu-rambu, lampu jalan, jalur penyeberangan, dan vegetasi.

The design of a road corridor plays a crucial role in defining the city's image and reflecting its activities. An effective design should fulfill user needs and enhance road-related activities. The Pejompongan Street corridor faces challenges such as limited parking spaces, street vendor proliferation, and insufficient pedestrian paths due to its constrained space and high activity level. A comprehensive design guideline is necessary to effectively address the needs of users and ensure the continued functionality of the corridor and its associated activities. This research aims to develop the guidelines for designing the Pejompongan Road corridor to optimize the performance of road corridors and commercial functions of the area by considering the needs of traders and visitors. The data collection process involved primary and secondary surveys, formulating design criteria, analyzing pedestrian and trader needs using Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), and conducting a triangulation analysis to establish the design guidelines. The design criteria obtained are ease of pedestrian circulation, complete street furniture, safe crossing, and visual attractiveness. Furthermore, the findings of this study categorize 11 variables related to pedestrian lane facilities into four quadrants. In the first quadrant, labeled "concentrate here," three variables were identified: pedestrian path, ramp and disability infrastructure, and seating area. The second quadrant, called "keep up the good work," included four variables: signage, street lamp, crossing path, and vegetation. The third quadrant, labeled "low priority," were two variables: bollard and beauty. Lastly, in the fourth quadrant, or "possible overkill", the variables trash bin and safety fence were classified in the category. The design of the Jalan Pejompongan corridor aims to establish a corridor that accommodates the needs of visitors and traders while supporting various activities within it. This will be accomplished by providing public facilities, improving accessibility, and improving the quality of the corridor space.
