Abstract
Bandar Udara Internasional I Gusti Ngurah Rai merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang jasa transportasi udara, di bawah manajemen PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero). Bandar udara ini terletak di Jalan Raya Gusti Ngurah Rai, Tuban, Kec. Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Bali. Sebagai pintu gerbang Pulau Bali jalur udara, tentunya Bandar Udara Internasional I Gusti Ngurah Rai harus memperhatikan aspek keamanan dan kenyamanan bagi pengguna dengan fasilitas dan pelayanan berstandar internasional yang serasi dengan budaya serta lingkungan Pulau Bali. Metode desain yang digunakan dalam perancangan objek desain merupakan design thinking yang meliputi pengumpulan data secara langsung dan tidak langsung. Melalui data tersebut, dilakukan analisis data sehingga diperoleh konsep desain yang sesuai. Pariwisata merupakan unsur penunjang ekonomi, sosial dan budaya yang sangat baik bagi beberapa daerah di Indonesia, khususnya Bali. Pulau Bali yang kaya akan budaya memanfaatkan potensi alam dan budaya dengan sangat baik sehingga dapat meningkatkan taraf ekonomi masyarakat dan turut melestarikan kebudayaan yang ada. Oleh karena itu, bandar udara sebagai salah satu unsur penting dalam bidang pariwisata turut berperan penting dalam memajukan pariwisata di Pulau Bali. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, konsep yang diterapkan pada desain interior terminal pada terminal domestik Bandar Udara Internasional I Gusti Ngurah Rai adalah Biophilic Design dengan penerapan Budaya Bali. Biophilic Design berlandaskan pada aspek biophilia yang dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan hidup manusia secara fisik dan mental dengan membina hubungan positif antara manusia dan alam. Konsep ini diharapkan mampu menambah rasa cinta dan bangga masyarakat Bali terhadap budaya aslinya dan sebagai sarana promosi untuk masyarakat luar daerah Bali.

I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport is a company engaged in the field of air transportation services, under the management of PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero). This airport is located on Jalan Raya Gusti Ngurah Rai, Tuban, Kec. Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali. As the gateway to the island of Bali by air, of course I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport must pay attention to aspects of security and comfort for users with international standard facilities and services that are in harmony with the culture and environment of the island of Bali. The design method used in designing design objects is design thinking which includes direct and indirect data collection. Through these data, data analysis is carried out, so that an appropriate design concept is obtained. Tourism is an excellent element of economic, social and cultural support for several regions in Indonesia, especially Bali. The island of Bali which is rich in culture makes very good use of natural and cultural potential so that it can increase the economic level of the community and help preserve the existing culture. Therefore, the airport as an important element in the field of tourism plays an important role in advancing tourism on the island of Bali. Based on this, the concept applied to the terminal interior design at the domestic terminal of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport is Biophilic Design with the application of Balinese Culture. Biophilic Design is based on biophilic aspects that can improve the welfare of human life physically and mentally by fostering positive relationships between humans and nature. So it is hoped that this concept can increase the love and pride of the Balinese people for their original culture and as a means of promotion for people outside the Bali area.
