Abstract

The successful implementation of a new technology can never be separated from the role of user readiness and acceptance of the technology. A person's intention and willingness to adopt a new technology is influenced by several things, including TRI and TAM factors. This study aims to analyze the level of readiness and acceptance of technology to agents using the TRAM approach. TRAM is a combination of the TR and TAM methods. It was found that of the 16 research hypotheses, 11 hypotheses were accepted, the other 5 hypotheses were rejected. Measuring the level of user technology readiness is at a value of 3.75. The TRI driving factor has a significant effect on PU, but only the innovativeness variable which has a significant effect on PEOU while the optimism variable has no significant effect on PEOU. The TRI (insecurity & discomfort) inhibiting factor has no significant effect on PU and PEOU. Other external factors from the extended TAM such as TSE, PEC, TA, and PE each have a significant effect on PEOU. The novelty of the research with the integration of the TRI and TAM models added by exogenous variables from Extended TAM shows that exogenous variables have a significant influence on technology adoption intentions based on ease and benefits of use. Similar research has never been carried out, especially in the multi-finance industry, so the results of this study are expected to become a novelty theory from TRAM and as input and reference for companies for technology improvements in the future.
