Abstract

Salah satu strategi yang digunakan Indonesia untuk menghadapi berbagai ancaman di perairan Indonesia adalah diplomasi pertahanan maritim. Diplomasi pertahanan biasanya berkaitan dengan politik atau kekuasaan dunia nyata. Seiring waktu, pentingnya diplomasi pertahanan telah berkembang. Konsep ini tidak lagi hanya menitikberatkan pada aspek-aspek yang pada umumnya didominasi oleh sejumlah aktor internasional dengan kemampuan adidaya, tetapi mencakup aspek stabilitas keamanan internasional secara keseluruhan. Oleh karena itu, perdebatan tentang diplomasi pertahanan telah beralih dari mempertimbangkan pertunjukan kekuatan seperti diplomasi senjata, menjadi fokus pada kerja sama dalam skala yang lebih besar. Wujud diplomasi tersebut seperti upaya berbagi informasi, latihan bersama, dan koordinasi keamanan. KRI atau Kapal Republik Indonesia merupakan alat pertahanan maritim dalam lingkup multilateral, bilateral dan regional. Oleh karena itu, KRI harus mampu menunjukkan secara visual tidak hanya memberikan Deterence Effect kepada negara asing, tetapi juga dapat merepresentasikan identitas lokal Indonesia. Hal ini dimaksudkan sebagai implementasi pelaksanaan politik luar negeri Indonesia, khususnya di bidang keamanan nasional dan internasional. Sebagai objek studi kasus, perancangan ini mengadopsi Kapal Perang tipe Arrowhead 140 M, dimana Kapal tersebut merupakan kapal perang setara class Destroyer. Desain interior ruang akomodasi Kapal Frigate Arrowhead 140 M ini dirancang menggunakan metode interior design thinking, dengan dilakukan beberapa tahap dan pengembangan desain hingga mendapatkan hasil rancangan desain interior yang terbaik dalam menjawab beberapa permasalahan yang ada. Kapal Perang Indonesia juga harus diimbangi dengan desain interior yang menarik agar bisa menjadi salah satu kapal perang kebanggaan Indonesia dan berdiplomasi dengan negara asing dalam upaya pertahanan maritim Indonesia. Sebagai bentuk upaya pertahanan maritim Indonesia, kapal ini juga merupakan salah satu bentuk diplomasi negara. Sehingga dalam perancangan interior dengan studi kasus Kapal Perang tipe Frigate Arrowhead 140 M ini mampu menghasilkan desain interior kapal sebagai media representative TNI AL dengan menunjukkan identitas karakter bangsa Indonesia berupa penerapan kearifan budaya lokal secara visual.

One of the strategies used by Indonesia to deal with various threats in Indonesian waters is maritime defense diplomacy. Defense diplomacy usually deals with realpolitik or power. Over time, the importance of defense diplomacy has grown. The concept no longer focuses only on aspects that are generally dominated by a number of international actors with superpower capabilities, but includes aspects of international security stability as a whole. Thus, the debate on defense diplomacy has shifted from considering displays of force, such as arms diplomacy, to focusing on cooperation on a larger scale. Such forms of diplomacy include information sharing, joint exercises, and security coordination. KRI or Kapal Republic Indonesia is an instrument of maritime defense in multilateral, bilateral and regional arenas. Therefore, KRI must be able to visually demonstrate not only a deterrence effect to foreign countries, but also be able to represent Indonesia's local identity. This is intended as an implementation of Indonesia's foreign policy, especially in the field of national and international security. As a case study object, this design adopts the 140 M Arrowhead type warship, which is a warship equivalent to the destroyer class. The interior design of the accommodation space of the Arrowhead 140 M frigate is designed using the interior design thinking method, with several stages and design development carried out to achieve the best interior design results in answering several existing problems. Indonesian warships must also be balanced with attractive interior design to become one of Indonesia's proud warships and diplomacy with foreign countries in Indonesia's maritime defense efforts. As a form of Indonesia's maritime defense efforts, this ship is also a form of state diplomacy. So in the interior design with a case study of the 140 M Frigate Arrowhead type warship, it is able to produce a ship's interior design as a representative media of the Indonesian Navy by showing the identity of the Indonesian character in the form of visual application of local cultural wisdom.
