Abstract

Dalam upaya peningkatan pelayanan fasilitas kesehatan di Indonesia, RSUD Dr. Soetomo Surabaya berdedikasi menjadi rumah sakit kelas A yang memberikan pelayanan dan fasilitas kesehatan terbaik di Wilayah Indonesia Timur. Salah satu pelayanan yang disediakan oleh RSUD Dr. Soetomo Surabaya adalah pelayanan rawat jalan. Unit penyedia pelayanan rawat jalan pada rumah sakit disebut dengan instalasi rawat jalan. Pada instalasi rawat jalan (IRJ), pasien dan pendamping memiliki jumlah berkunjung yang tinggi dan jangka waktu berkunjung yang lama, terutama pada pelayanan rawat jalan pasien kanker. Rumah sakit harus mampu memberikan pelayanan dan fasilitas yang bermutu secara kontinu baik secara medis maupun non-medis kepada setiap pengguna rumah sakit yaitu, pasien, pendamping, perawat, dan dokter. Salah satu pendekatan non-medis yaitu penyediaan fasilitas yang dapat mendukung kesembuhan pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor dan rancangan interior yang dapat mendukung kesembuhan pasien pada Instalasi Rawat Jalan RSUD Dr. Soetomo Surabaya. Menggunakan metodologi penelitian mixed methods, penelitian ini mengumpulkan dan mengelola data kuantitatif dan kualitatif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi literatur. Data yang telah diperoleh kemudian diolah dan dilakukan validasi desain sebagai tolok ukur keberhasilan parameter desain. Dari hasil pengelolaan data dan validasi desain, didapati kesimpulan bahwa, lingkungan fisik dan psikis berperan bagi kesembuhan pasien lantai 2 Instalasi Rawat Jalan RSUD Dr. Soetomo, serta penerapan healing environment dapat menyediakan lingkungan yang menyembuhkan bagi pasien dan pengguna lainnya.

To improve health facility services in Indonesia, RSUD Dr. Soetomo Surabaya is dedicated to becoming a class-A hospital that provides the best health services and facilities in Eastern Indonesia. One of the services offered by RSUD Dr. Soetomo Surabaya is an outpatient service. Units providing outpatient services at hospitals are called outpatient installations. In outpatient installations (IRJ), patients and companions have many visits and long visiting periods, especially in outpatient services for cancer patients. Hospitals must be able to provide quality services and facilities continuously both medically and non-medically to every user of the hospital, namely, patients, assistants, nurses, and doctors. One non-medical approach is the provision of facilities that can support patient recovery. This study aims to identify factors and interior design that can support the recovery of patients at the Outpatient Installation of RSUD Dr. Sutomo Surabaya. Using a mixed methods research methodology, this research collects and manages quantitative and qualitative data through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The data that has been obtained is then processed and carried out design validation as a benchmark for the success of design parameters. From the results of data management and design validation, it was concluded that the physical and psychological environment played a role in the recovery of patients on the 2nd floor of the Outpatient Installation at RSUD Dr. Soetomo, as well as the application of a healing environment can provide a healing environment for patients and other users.
