Abstract

Tuban Regency is one of the leading centers of corn production in East Java Province. The majority of corn utilization in Tuban Regency is used for poultry farming, namely corn pilling. But, every part of corn can be utilized according to its growth phase. The growth phase of corn is divided into three phases: germination phase, vegetative phase, and generative phase. Corn parts can be utilized in the vegetative and generative phases by using young stems and leaves for animal feed, old leaf stems for green fertilizer or compost, and so on. Corn is needed as animal feed in the livestock industry, and industrial and household needs also require parts of corn. Based on this, a supply chain concept through the best route is needed to determine corn's distribution channel to obtain corn's optimal distribution and utilization efficiency in each phase. This research identifies the growth phase of corn using NDVI vegetation index and maximum likelihood classification as producer data. The subdistrict chosen as the spatial data producer is the Palang sub-district. After obtaining the growth phase of corn, it was overlaid with end consumer data consisting of cattle farms, markets/supermarkets, and chicken farms for route analysis through network analyst tools with the route analysis method. The results showed that the growth phase of corn in Palang Subdistrict in May 2022 was mainly late generative with an area of 1903.77 Ha, June 2022 was mostly germination or early vegetative with an area of 2118.05 Ha, July 2022 mainly was late vegetative with an area of 3465.75 Ha, August 2022 mainly was early generative with an area of 2341 Ha, September 2022 was mostly early generative and late vegetative with an area of 2112.14 Ha and 1438.46 Ha. Based on the data on the growth phase of corn, a route analysis was conducted. For the late vegetative phase, the best route is UD. Shiranda Farm, with 14.41 km, has a travel time 28.81 minutes. In the early generative phase, for the best route, Karangagung Market, 5.49 km located in Palang Sub-district, has a travel time of 10.97 minutes. In the final generative phase for the shortest distance with broiler farm 1 located in Gesing Village, Semanding District with 5.51 km and a travel time of 11.02 minutes.
