Abstract
Dermaga Konstruksi PT Pupuk Kaltim merupakan dermaga jetty pertama yang dibangun pada tahun 1979 dan pengembangannya pada tahun 1988. Awalnya dermaga ini berfungsi sebagai tempat bongkar/muat material konstruksi pabrik PT Pupuk Kaltim. Namun, fungsi tersebut beralih menjadi tempat bongkar/muat bahan baku produksi dan distribusi pupuk urea. Dermaga ini melayani kapal general cargo berkapasitas sampai 2000 DWT untuk distribusi pupuk Urea ke wilayah Kalimantan Utara, Kalimantan Tengah, Kalimantan Selatan, Kalimantan Barat, Bali, Nusa Tenggara Barat, Nusa Tenggara Timur, Sulawesi Utara, Sulawesi Tengah, Sulawesi Barat, Sulawesi Selatan, Sulawesi Tenggara, Maluku Utara, Maluku, Papua, dan sebagian Jawa Timur. Dermaga Konstruksi memiliki layout berbentuk huruf U. Sisi utara Dermaga Konstruksi memiliki dimensi panjang 90 meter, lebar 18 meter dan kedalaman perairan 5 meter. Sisi barat memiliki dimensi panjang 160 meter, lebar 30 meter, kedalaman perairan 5 meter. Dan, sisi selatan memiliki dimensi panjang 170 meter, lebar 30 meter, dan kedalaman 5 meter. Sisi utara Dermaga Konstruksi terbagai menjadi tiga bagian, yaitu Dermaga Lumus 1, Dermaga Lumus 2, dan Dermaga Extension 1. Dermaga Lumus 1 dan 2 dibangun pada tahun 1979 dan Dermaga Extension 1 dibangun pada tahun 1988. Saat ini umur struktur sisi utara Dermaga Konstruksi telah lebih dari 30 tahun. Faktor tersebut memungkinkan adanya penurunan kualitas bahan dan material konstruksi dermaga. Kondisi tersebut telah menyebabkan beban aktivitas bongkar/muat dermaga menjadi lebih rendah dari kapasitas layan rencana struktur dermaga. Tahun 2017, PT Pupuk Kaltim akan meningkatkan kapasitas kapal general cargo yang akan bersandar di Dermaga Konstruksi menjadi 6000 DWT. Maka dari itu, Dermaga Konstruksi perlu perencanaan perbaikan dan perkuatan struktur dermaga untuk mengatasi faktor – faktor tersebut.
Perencanaan dilakukan menggunakan standard utama British Standard 6349 tentang Maritime Works. Dalam perencanaan perbaikan dan perkuatan struktur dermaga, dilakukan evaluasi fasilitas perairan dan daratan, fender dan bollard, dan evaluasi struktur eksisting dermaga. Dalam evaluasi struktur eksisting dermaga menggunakan program bantu SAP2000. Setelah dilakukan evaluasi, selanjutnya merencanakan perbaikan dan perkuatan struktur dermaga, dan rencana anggaran biaya.
Hasil dari perencanaan perbaikan dan perkuatan sisi utara Dermaga Konstruksi untuk kapal general cargo 6000 DWT di Tersus PT Pupuk Kaltim, Bontang, diperoleh struktur eksisting dermaga perlu diganti. Kebutuhan struktur baru Dermaga Konstruksi, yaitu tebal pelat lantai dermaga 0,6 meter, balok melintang dan memanjang dengan ukuran 0,4 m x 0,8 m, pile cap berukuran 2 m x 2 m x 1,5 m untuk intalasi fender, pile cap berukuran 2 m x 2m x 0,8 m, perbaikan tiang pancang dengan menggunakan patch plate tebal 5/16 inch dengan panjang 13,385 m, dan fender tipe V G.1.4 SX-P 600 panjang 3 meter sebanyak 11 set. Rencana anggaran biaya yang diperlukan untuk perbaikan dan perkuatan struktur dermaga sebesar Rp41.098.695.745.60 (Empat Puluh Satu Milyar Sembilan Puluh Delapan Juta Enam Ratus Sembilan Puluh Lima Ribu Tujuh Ratus Empat Puluh Lima Rupiah)

The Construction Jetty of PT Pupuk Kaltim is the first jetty wharf built in 1979 and its development began in 1988. Initially, this dock functioned as a place for loading and unloading construction materials for PT Pupuk Kaltim's factory. However, this function has turned into a place for loading and unloading raw materials for the production and distribution of urea fertilizer. This wharf serves general cargo ships with a capacity of up to 2000 DWT for the distribution of urea fertilizer to North Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, West Kalimantan, Bali, West Nusa Tenggara, East Nusa Tenggara, North Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, North Maluku, Maluku, and parts of East Java. The construction pier has a U-shaped layout. The north side of the construction pier has dimensions of 90 meters long, 18 meters wide, and 5 meters deep. The west side has dimensions of 160 meters long, 30 meters wide, and 5 meters deep. And, the south side has dimensions of 170 meters long, 30 meters wide, and 5 meters deep. The northern side of the construction pier is divided into three parts, namely Lumus Pier 1, Lumus Pier 2, and Extension Pier 1. Lumus Piers 1 and 2 were built in 1979, and Extension Pier 1 was built in 1988. Currently, the structure life of the north side of the construction pier is more than 30 years. These factors allow for a decrease in the quality of the pier's construction materials and materials. This condition has caused the loading and unloading activity load of the wharf to be lower than the design service capacity of the wharf structure. In 2017, PT Pupuk Kaltim will increase the capacity of general cargo ships that dock at the Construction Pier to 6000 DWT. Therefore, the construction pier needs to plan for repairs and strengthening of the wharf structure to overcome these factors.
The main standard for Maritime Works, British Standard 6349, is used for planning. In planning the retrofitting and strengthening of the wharf structure, evaluation of water and land facilities, fenders and bollards, and evaluation of the existing structure of the wharf are carried out. We are evaluating the existing structure of the wharf using the SAP2000 program. After the evaluation, the next step is to plan the retrofitting and strengthening of the wharf structure and determine the cost budget. The results of the planning for the retrofitting and strengtheing of the north side of the construction jetty for a 6000 DWT general cargo ship at Tersus PT Pupuk Kaltim, Bontang, were that the existing structure of the wharf needs to be replaced. The need for a new structure for the construction dock, namely the pier floor slab thickness of 0.6 meters, transverse and longitudinal beams measuring 0.4 m x 0.8 m, pile cap measuring 2 m x 2 m x 1.5 m for fender installation, pile cap measuring 2 m x 2 m x 0.8 m, repair of piles by using a 5/16 inch thick patch plate with a length of 13.385 m, and 11 sets of V G.1.4 SX-P 600 fenders with a length of 3 meters. The budget plan required for the retrofitting and strengthening of the wharf structure is IDR41.098.695.745.60 (Forty-One Billion Ninety-Eight Million Six Hundred Ninety-Five Thousand Seven Hundred Forty-Five Rupiah).
