Abstract

Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) memiliki banyak ruangan yang dapat digunakan oleh berbagai kalangan untuk keperluan acara atau kegiatan. Namun, pendataan terhadap penggunaan ruangan yang masih dilakukan secara manual, cenderung mempunyai tingkat keakuratan yang minim dan penanganan yang cukup lambat. Prosedur yang manual dan panjang juga menyulitkan pihak yang ingin mengajukan penggunaan ruangan untuk tujuan tertentu. Seiring dengan kemajuan teknologi yang semakin berkembang pesat, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) ingin mengembangkan sebuah sistem yang dapat memungkinkan pengguna untuk mengakses informasi penyewaan ruangan secara real time serta mempermudah penyedia ruangan dalam melakukan pengelolaan ruangan yang bernama myITS Lease. myITS Lease berfokus kepada masyarakat umum sebagai pihak eksternal untuk dapat melakukan penyewaan ruangan yang ada di lingkungan ITS. Pengelolaan dari semua ruangan akan dilakukan oleh tenaga kependidikan DKPU ITS sebagai super admin dan tenaga kependidikan departemen-departemen di ITS sebagai admin. Tujuan dari Tugas Akhir ini adalah untuk menghasilkan desain antarmuka dan pengalaman pengguna aplikasi web myITS Lease yang lebih memprioritaskan kebutuhan dan pengalaman pengguna dengan menerapkan prinsip User-Centered Design, dimana pengembangan aplikasi akan berpusat kepada pengguna sehingga aplikasi yang dihasilkan akan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Terdapat dua evaluasi desain yang telah dilakukan untuk menemukan permasalahan pada desain antarmuka pengguna, yaitu usability testing untuk menguji ketergunaan myITS Lease dan evaluasi heuristik untuk menguji kesesuaian desain antarmuka pengguna dengan sepuluh prinsip heuristik. Selain itu, penilaian SUS (System Usability Scale) juga dilakukan untuk mendapatkan nilai ketergunaan desain antarmuka pengguna myITS Lease. Nilai SUS untuk tiga peran user myITS Lease telah berada di atas nilai SUS yang baik, yaitu dengan angka 94.6 dan 95.9 untuk user masyarakat umum, 94.3 untuk user super admin, dan 87,1 untuk user admin. Hasil dari Tugas Akhir ini berupa sebuah aplikasi web responsif yang dapat berjalan di perangkat komputer dengan berbagai ukuran layar. Perancangan antarmuka pengguna akan dilakukan dengan menggunakan software Figma. Aplikasi web ini juga akan dibangun menggunakan teknologi HTML, CSS, JavaScript, dan Bootstrap.

The Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) has many rooms that can be used by various people for events or activities. However, data management on used rooms, which is still done manually, tends to have a minimal level of accuracy and is quite slow. In addition, manual and lengthy procedures also make it difficult for parties who want to use the room for a specific purpose. Along with technological advances that are growing rapidly, the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) wants to develop a system that can allow users to access room rental information in real time and make it easier for room providers to manage multiple rooms named myITS Lease. myITS Lease focuses on the general public as external parties to facilitate room rentals within the ITS campus. The management of all rooms will be handled by the DKPU ITS administrative staff as super admins, and administrative staff from various departments within ITS will act as admins. The aim of this Final Project is to produce a user interface design and user experience for the myITS Lease web application that prioritizes user needs and experiences by applying the principles of User-Centered Design. The development of the application will revolve around the users, ensuring that the resulting application meets their requirements. Two design evaluations have been conducted to identify issues with the user interface design. The first evaluation was usability testing to assess the usability of myITS Lease, while the second evaluation involved heuristic evaluations to test the compliance of the user interface design with ten heuristic principles. Additionally, the System Usability Scale (SUS) assessment was conducted to measure the usability of the myITS Lease user interface design. The SUS scores for the four user roles in myITS Lease have all surpassed the threshold for good usability. Specifically, the scores were 94.6 and 95.9 for general public users, 94.3 for super admin users, and 87.1 for admin users. The result of this Final Project is a responsive web application that can run on computer devices with various screen sizes. The user interface design will be created using the software Figma. The web application will be built using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap technologies.
