Abstract

Microgreen pucuk kacang polong merupakan tanaman yang memiliki nutrisi dan vitamin lebih banyak dari tanaman biasa dan bernilai jual tinggi serta memiliki masa panen yang relative singkat. Penyinaran sangat berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman. Paparan cahaya yang optimum pada budidaya tanaman secara indoor farming sangat mempengaruhi proses fotosintesis tanaman. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisa pengaruh variasi spektrum dan intensitas cahaya terhadap pertumbuhan dan produktivitas tanaman, sertan nilai ekonomisnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan 4 variasi spektrum yaitu (R100) pada cahaya merah, (B100) pada cahaya biru, (B21:G19:R46:FR12) pada cahaya 4000 kelvin dan (B21:G19:R46:FR12) pada cahaya 5000 kelvin dengan intensitas cahaya yang diterima tanaman berbeda-beda. Selain itu ada tanaman pembanding (kontrol) dengan penyinaran cahaya matahari. Parameter yang diamati yaitu morfologi tanaman (berat segar, berat kering dan tinggi tanaman) dan fisiologi tanaman (jumlah klorofil dan karotenoid). Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan spektrum yang paling optimal terhadap morfologi dan fisiologi tanaman microgreen pucuk kacang polong adalah kombinasi spektrum (B21:G19:R46:FR12) dimana tanaman memiliki jumlah klorofil a yang berfungsi sebagai pigmen utama dalam fotosintesis paling banyak dan memiliki berat kering paling tinggi. Nilai ekonomis pada penelitian ini memiliki rasio antara total pendapatan dan total biaya lebih dari 1 yaitu 2,45, sehingga penelitian ini layak untuk diusahakan dan dikembangkan karena biaya pendapatan mampu menutupi biaya total yang dibutuhkan, serta memiliki hasil yang lebih baik dari tanaman dengan pencahayaan matahari.

Microgreen peas are plants that have higher nutrients and vitamins compared to regular plants, making them highly valuable in terms of sales. They also have a relatively short harvesting period. Lighting plays a crucial role in plant growth. Optimal light exposure in indoor farming significantly affects the process of photosynthesis in plants. The objective of this research is to analyze the influence of light spectrum and intensity variations on plant growth, productivity, and economic value. The study includes four spectrum variations: (R100) red light, (B100) blue light, (B21:G19:R46:FR12) 4000 Kelvin light, and (B21:G19:R46:FR12) 5000 Kelvin light, with different intensities of light received by the plants. Additionally, there is a control plant exposed to sunlight. The observed parameters include plant morphology (fresh weight, dry weight, and height) and plant physiology (chlorophyll and carotenoid content). Based on the conducted research, it can be concluded that the most optimal spectrum for the morplology and physiologi of microgreen pea shoot is a combination of spectrum (B21:G19:R46:FR12), where the plants have the highest amount of chlorophyll a, which fuctions as the main pigment in photosynthesis, and the highest dry weight. The economic value in this research has a ratio of total income to total cost greater than 1, specifically 2.45. Therefore, this research is deemed feasible to be pursued and developed because the income generated is able to cover the total cost required, and it also yield better result compared to plants gworn under sunlight.
