Abstract

One of the problems often faced by small-scale fishermen in Indonesia's coastal areas is that they still use conventional methods with PLN supplies and generators to power their fish farming operations. These problems need to be addressed through the use of efficient renewable energy sources such as wind, solar and ocean wave energy. In this study, an energy transition from conventional energy use to renewable energy is planned to fulfil the electricity needs for shrimp farming at Konang Beach, Panggul District, Trenggalek Regency. The potential of renewable energy around Konang Beach shrimp farms for solar energy can produce energy output power of 1024567 watts for mono crystalline PV, 819654 watts for poly crystalline PV, and 409827 watts for thin film PV. For wind energy, the effective output power is 2540.16 watts per mill. Then for ocean wave energy, the output power is 502991.67 watts. After calculating the energy potential,, the system selection is planned using the TRIZ method. The resulting solution is the use of solar energy with an off-grid solar power generation system. Mr Waluyo's farm will be supported by 92 pieces of 500 Wp Monocrystalline PV modules, 48 pieces of 500 Ah batteries, 2 pieces of 10 kW inverters and 6 pieces of SCC. At Mr Rokani's farm, a solar farm is planned to be supported by 74 pieces of 500 Wp Monocrystalin PV modules, 38 pieces of 500 Ah batteries, 2 pieces of 10 kW inverters and 5 pieces of SCC. And for Mr Awil, a solar power plant supported by 500 Wp monocrystalline PV modules of 110 pieces, 500 Ah batteries of 58 pieces, 10 kW inverters of 3 pieces and SCC of 7 pieces is planned. Based on the economic value related with the energy transition, it is concluded that the planning of solar power plants has a cheaper total cost when compared to PLN electricity. It is known that the present value cost of PLTS construction in Mr Waluyo's ponds are Rp1.542.634.649,80, in Mr Rokani's ponds are Rp1.395.589.852,95, and in Mr Awil's ponds are Rp1.698.364.087,40. While the present value cost for PLN electricity was Rp1.918.166.968,87, in Mr Waluyo's ponds, Rp1.691.803.780,0, in Mr Rokani's ponds and Rp2.139.567.863,70 in Mr Awil's ponds
