Abstract

Non Fungible Token (NFT) adalah jenis token dalam blockchain yang merepresentasikan kepemilikan dari suatu aset digital. Pada awal kemunculannya NFT sering digunakan un- tuk menjamin keorisinalitasan suatu karya seni digital. Akan tetapi, penggunaan NFT su- dah mulai meluas menjadi berbagai hal seperti contohnya adalah aset dalam game yang men- gusung konsep metaverse. Metaverse sendiri secadara sederhana merupakan suatu konsep yang menghubungkan realitas dan dengan dunia digital. Implementasi NFT dan blockchain pada metaverse didasarkan pada keuntungan yang diperoleh seperti contohnya adalah adanya mata uang yang bersifat universal dengan cryptocurrency, keamanan sistem, desentralisasi, orisinal- itas suatu aset dan sebagainya. Meskipun banyak keuntungan yang diperoleh, terdapat berba- gai hal yang menjadi kekurangan dimana fitur-fitur NFT Marketplace yang ada saat ini masih sangat terbatas dengan implmentasi fungsi-fungsi dasar yang disediakan oleh smart contract ERC-721 sehingga menyebabkan potensi pemanfaatan NFT atas suatu kepemilikan aset juga terbatas seperti pemilik hanya dapat memperoleh keuntungan melalui penjualan dimana hal ini berbeda dengan kepemilikan atas aset di dunia nyata dimana pemilik dapat menyewakan aset yang dimiliki atau bahkan membagi kepemilikannya dengan orang lain. Tentunya hal ini berten- tangan dengan konsep metaverse yang berupaya untuk membawa dunia nyata ke dunia digital. Selain itu hal ini juga menyebabkan likuiditas dari NFT rendah dikarenakan hanya dapat diper- jual belikan dan dimiliki kalangan tertentu. Likuiditas menjadi hal yang penting dikarenakan likuiditas merupakan salah satu faktor pembentukan harga aset tak terkecuali NFT sebagai aset digital dalam metaverse. Dikarenakan hal tersebut dibutuhkan suatu NFT Marketplace yang menghadirkan berbagai fitur yang mampu meningkatkan potensi keuntungan atas kepemilikan aset dan likuiditas layaknya di dunia nyata yang sejalan dengan konsep metaverse seperti sistem sewa dan kepemilikan bersama

Non Fungible Token (NFT) is type of token in blockchain that represents ownership of digital asset. In the beginning of NFT emergence, NFT is used to ensure the originality of digital arts. After that the use case of NFT is wider, the example is the use of NFT as assets in games that bring metaverse concept. Metaverse is concept that brings reality into digital environment. The implementation of Blockchain and NFT into metaverse is developed cause some reasons such as the existence of universal currency with cryptocurrency, system security, decentralization, and guarantee of asset originality. Although brings some advantages, there are some bad e↵ects that appears of NFT implementation into metaverse. Recently most of NFT Marketplace implement basic functions of ERC-721 Smart Contract that have limited features. This implementation makes potential of revenue of ownership is limited where the owner can only get revenue from sale their assets which is in this case is NFT. In reality owners not only get revenue from sale their asset but also from rent their assets even share their ownership. Of course this bad e↵ect against the metaverse concept that wants bring real world to digital world. Not only that, this condition also makes the liquidity of asset lower. The liquidity of asset is importance thing because this one can be importance factor to pricing movement of its asset. Because of that there is a need a NFT Marketplace that can ensure the potential revenue of asset ownership and liquidity like in real world that is line with metaverse concept
