Abstract

Mikroalga adalah tumbuhan berukuran mikro yang dapat menangkap dan mengikat CO2 dari atmosfer dengan mengubahnya menjadi biomassa. Biomassa dengan lipid tinggi yang dihasilkan dari proses pertumbuhan mikroalga dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai energi alternatif. Untuk memperoleh biomassa dan lipid tinggi diperlukan kendali pada intensitas cahaya dan nutrisi limbah cair agar dapat berkembang biak secara maksimal. Pada penelitian ini, model matematika pertumbuhan mikroalga dari penelitian sebelumnya dianalisis kepositifan dan kestabilan modelnya. Kemudian dilakukan kendali pada pemberian intensitas cahaya dan nutrisi limbah cair menggunakan Prinsip Minimum Pontryagin. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi numerik menggunakan metode Runge-Kutta orde 4 dengan bantuan software Matlab, didapatkan hasil yang optimal. Dengan rentang waktu selama 12 hari, pemberian kendali berupa intensitas cahaya matahari dan konsentrasi nutrisi limbah cair menaikkan produksi konsentrasi biomassa sebesar 6 kali lipat dan lipid naik sebesar 5 kali lipat dari produksi tanpa kendali pada model matematika pertumbuhan mikroalga. =================================================================================================================================
Microalgae are micro-sized plants that can capture and fix CO2 from the atmosphere by turning it into biomass. Biomass with high lipids resulting from the microalgae growth process can be utilized as an alternative energy. In order to obtain high biomass and lipids, it is necessary to control the light intensity and nutrients of the liquid waste in order to reproduce optimally. In this study, the mathematical model of microalgae growth from previous studies was analyzed for the positivity and stability of the model. Then control is carried out on the provision of light intensity and liquid waste nutrition using the Pontryagin Minimum Principle. Based on the results of numerical simulations using the Runge-Kutta method of order 4 with the help of software Matlab, optimal results are obtained. With a time span of 8 days, giving control in the form of sunlight intensity and concentration of liquid waste nutrients increased the production of biomass up to 6 times and lipid concentrations up to 5 times the production without control in the mathematical model of microalgae growth
