Abstract

Nm.

Indonesia is a maritime country whose sea area is larger than its land area. In addition, Indonesia has abundant natural resources, especially the mining sector. There are various types of mining sector, one of which is limestone mining which is used as raw material for cement. Therefore Indonesia formed a holding company under the name PT. Semen Indonesia with several of its subsidiaries such as PT. Semen Padang, PT. Semen Gresik, and PT. Semen Tonasa, PT. Semen Baturaja, and PT. Kupang Cement. However, the current condition in Indonesia is that there is an excess of cement production of almost 95% with a production capacity of 120 million tonnes/year but a demand of 65 million tonnes/year. With this excess cement production, the country will only export 11.6 million tons of cement abroad in 2021. In addition, based on international transportation journals, it says that Indonesia's logistics costs are very expensive, so it is necessary to reduce logistics costs, so this research tries to create a model. distribution network using network planning Heterogeneous Vehicle Routing Problem in the distribution of Indonesian export cement using optimization methods. Based on the best scenario models, freight/ton.Nm is cheaper than Vietnam except for clinker commodities from Semen Tonasa to Adelaide which are more expensive from Vietnam by a difference of Rp. 18 freight/ton.Nm.
