Abstract

PT. XYZ adalah sebuah perusahaan distributor alat berat di Indonesia dan memiliki 66 anak perusahaan. Perusahaan ini memiliki Sistem Depo dan sebagai manajemen persediaan spare parts di Kalimantan. Permasalahan yang dihadapi PT. XYZ adalah belum melakukan klasifikasi spare parts dengan benar dan belum mempertimbangkan biaya persediaan pada kebijakan pengendalian persediaan, sehingga berpotensi munculnya trade-off total biaya persediaan. Klasifikasi spare parts di PT. XYZ masih berdasarkan rank month movement dan harga beli. Topik permasalahan yang diangkat adalah analisis kebijakan pengendalian persediaan spare parts untuk produk brand A pada Tower Samarinda menggunakan metode klasifikasi spare parts ABC untuk melakukan pemilihan spare parts yang memiliki value paling tinggi pada perusahaan dan metode XYZ untuk analisis fluktuasi permintaan. Model klasifikasi ini dilakukan untuk menentukan prioritas dan stock level spare parts. Metode yang digunakan untuk perhitungan parameter persediaan adalah metode periodic review (R, s, S) agar sesuai kondisi perusahaan yang memiliki supplier di luar negeri, dengan pendekatan simulasi Monte Carlo. Pendekatan simulasi digunakan untuk menjawab parameter ketidakpastian permintaan dari tiap spare parts. Performansi pengendalian persediaan ditinjau dari total biaya persediaan dan ketercapaian service level. Hasil simulasi spare parts 1518512 didapatkan total biaya persediaan mengalami penurunan dari Rp. 127.129.418,59 menjadi Rp. 38.615.585,93 dan ketercapaian service level mengalami peningkatan dari 97,83% menjadi 98,71%. Analisis ini diharapkan dapat meminimalkan total biaya persediaan pada persediaan PT. XYZ dan memberikan rekomendasi usulan untuk klasifikasi spare parts, serta penentuan kebijakan pengendalian persediaan spare parts Brand A di Tower Samarinda.

PT. XYZ is a heavy equipment distributor company in Indonesia and has 66 subsidiaries. The company has a Depot System and serves as the spare parts inventory management in Kalimantan. The problem faced by PT. XYZ is the improper classification of spare parts and the lack of consideration for inventory costs in the inventory control policy, which potentially leads to trade-offs in total inventory costs. The spare parts classification in PT. XYZ is still based on rank month movement and purchase price. The topic addressed is the analysis of spare parts inventory control policy for brand A products at Tower Samarinda using the ABC spare parts classification method to select spare parts with the highest value in the company and the XYZ method for demand fluctuation analysis. This classification model is used to determine the priority and stock level of spare parts. The method used for calculating inventory parameters is the periodic review method (R, s, S) to align with the company's conditions, which involve suppliers from overseas, with a Monte Carlo simulation approach. The simulation approach is used to address the uncertainty parameters of demand for each spare part. The performance of inventory control is evaluated based on total inventory costs and the achievement of service levels. The simulation results for spare part 1518512 show a decrease in total inventory costs from Rp. 127,129,418.59 to Rp. 38,615,585.93 and an increase in the achievement of service levels from 97.83% to 98.71%. This analysis is expected to minimize the total inventory costs at PT. XYZ's inventory and provide recommendations for spare parts classification, as well as determining inventory control policies for Brand A spare parts at Tower Samarinda
