Abstract

Kajian mengenai konsep teoritik arsitektur era postmodern masih banyak dilakukan pada era-era selanjutnya, termasuk pada abad XXI ini. Salah satu konsep teoritik yang muncul pada era postmodern tersebut berjudul No-Stop City yang digagaskan oleh sebuah kelompok arsitek bernama Archizoom Associati sebagai bentuk kritik terhadap kondisi industri pada saat itu. Pada abad ini, kembali terjadi sebuah fenomena serupa berupa pergeseran industri yang terjadi pada tahun 2017, yaitu peralihan industri yang mulai menggunakan generative Artificial Intelligent (AI) dalam mewujudkan kustomisasi produksi massal. Penggunaan generative AI tersebut selanjutnya juga akan banyak berpengaruh pada praktik berarsitektur. Proses duplikasi dalam produksi massal fungsi arsitektur yang digagaskan pada konsep No-Stop City dapat diimplementasikan kembali pada abad XXI dengan bentuk duplikasi yang berbeda menggunakan bantuan generative AI.

Many studies on the theoretical concepts of postmodern architecture have been carried out in later eras, including in the XXI century. One of the theoretical concepts that emerged in the postmodern era was entitled No-Stop City which was initiated by a group of architects named Archizoom Associati as a form of criticism of the industrial conditions at that time. In this century, a similar phenomenon occurred in the form of an industrial shift that occurred in 2017, there was an industrial shift that began using generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) in realizing mass production customization. The use of generative AI will also have a lot of impact on architectural practice. The process of duplication of function in the mass production of architecture initiated in the No-Stop City concept can also be implemented in the XXI century with various forms of duplication using generative AI assistance.
