Abstract

Mikroalga memiliki banyak manfaat, salah satunya adalah sebagai sumber energi terbarukan karena kandungan minyaknya tinggi. Dengan memanfaatkan mikroalga, bahan bakar yang dihasilkan menjadi bahan bakar ramah lingkungan karena mikroalga mampu menyerap karbondioksida dan menghilangkan polutan pada suatu limbah. Pertumbuhan mikroalga dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor lingkungan, seperti intensitas cahaya, karbondioksida, dan nutrisi. Pada penelitian ini, dibahas mengenai kendali optimal pada pertumbuhan mikroalga dengan variabel kendalinya adalah intensitas cahaya, aliran karbondioksida, dan aliran nutrisi limbah cair tahu sehingga pertumbuhan mikroalga dapat maksimal dan menghasilkan biomassa yang melimpah, serta mampu mengurangi limbah cair tahu yang ada di lingkungan. Untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan kendali optimal digunakan metode Pontryagin Maximum Principle. Dari hasil kendali optimal yang telah dilakukan terlihat bahwa sesudah dikontrol, pertumbuhan mikroalga mengalami kenaikan hingga mendekati 33,8583 satuan berat. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan adanya pengendalian, konsentrasi mikroalga meningkat yaitu sebesar 10,2861%

Microalgae has many benefits, one of which is as a renewable energy source due to its high oil content. By utilizing microalgae, the resulting fuel becomes an environmentally friendly fuel because microalgae are able to absorb carbon dioxide and remove pollutants in a waste. Microalgae growth is influenced by various environmental factors, such as light intensity, carbon dioxide, and nutrients. In this study, optimal control of microalgae growth is discussed with the control variables being light intensity, carbon dioxide flow, and tofu liquid waste nutrient flow so that microalgae growth can be maximized and produce abundant biomass, and be able to reduce tofu liquid waste in the environment. To solve the optimal control problem,the Pontryagin Maximum Principle method is used. From the results of optimal control that has been done, it can be seen that after being controlled, microalgae growth has increased to close to 33.8583 weight units. This result shows that with the control, the concentration of microalgae increased by 10.2861%
