Abstract

PUTA (Pesawat Udara Tanpa Awak) merupakan pesawat yang dikendalikan jarak jauh menggunakan remote control atau dapat bergerak secara otomatis berdasarkan petunjuk navigasi yang telah ditambahkan pada sistem. Pengawasan PUTA yang masih dilakukan secara manual akan cukup menyulitkan, sehingga perlu adanya pengembangan sistem monitoring PUTA. Oleh karena itu, pada penelitian ini, dikembangan sistem monitoring PUTA yang bertujuan untuk memudahkan pengawasan PUTA. Untuk mengembangkan sistem tersebut, dibutuhkan sebuah rancangan antarmuka pengguna yang interaktif dengan menggunakan metode perancangan yang baik. Tugas akhir ini menggunakan metode User Centered Design (UCD) untuk membantu mengembangkan antarmuka sistem monitoring PUTA. Perancangan antarmuka, selain berfokus pada tampilan sebuah produk, juga berkaitan dengan usability. Hasil akhir berupa sistem monitoring PUTA yang diberi nama UAVITS yang tidak hanya berfokus pada peta monitoring PUTA, namun juga memberikan kemudahan komunikasi antara pihak pengawas lalu lintas udara, dalam hal ini adalah Airnav, dan user.

UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) is an aircraft that is controlled remotely using a remote control or can move automatically based on navigation instructions that have been added to the system. Supervision of UAV which is still carried out manually will be quite difficult, so it is necessary to develop a UAV monitoring system. Therefore, in this research, a UAV monitoring system was developed which aims to simplify UAV supervision. To develop the system, it takes an interactive user interface design using a good design method. This final project uses the User Centered Design (UCD) method to help develop the UAV monitoring system interface. Interface design, apart from focusing on the appearance of a product, is also related to usability. The end result is a UAV monitoring system called UAVITS which does not only focus on PUTA monitoring maps, but also provides easy communication between air traffic controllers, in this case is Airnav, and UAV operators.
