Abstract

Dirjen Diktiristek Kementerian Pendidikan Kebudayaan Riset dan Teknologi, Nizam, dalam Anual Seminar WCP Desember 2021 lalu mengatakan bahwa lima sampai enam tahun terakhir, produktivitas publikasi internasional Indonesia meningkat enam kali lipat. Jumlah publikasi jurnal internasional di Indonesia mengalami peningkatan dari tahun ke tahun. Dari yang sebelumnya 8.000 publikasi per tahun, pada 2021 menjadi 50 ribu publikasi per tahun. Meskipun jumlah publikasi karya ilmiah Indonesia meningkat, indeks sitasi atau kutipannya masih minim. Hal itu menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kuantitas karya ilmiah belum dibarengi dengan kualitas. Menurut Nizam, salah satu penyebab dari minimnya sitasi dalam jurnal ilmiah adalah penyakit dari peneliti di Indonesia yang enggan untuk melihat atau mengutip karya dari orang lain. Padahal sitasi merupakan hal penting dalam penulisan karya ilmiah, dengan sitasi penulis menunjukkan kepada pembaca adanya tulisan pada karya ilmiah kita yang bersumber dari karya ilmiah orang lain. Dengan melakukan sitasi kita menghargai karya ilmiah orang lain dan menghindari plagiarisme. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, muncul ide perancangan aplikasi Quality Assessment Tools yang dapat membantu peneliti dalam melakukan pengumpulan sitasi dengan metode Tinjauan Pustaka Sistematis (Systematic literature review, SLR). Metode SLR sendiri digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi, mengkaji, mengevaluasi, dan menafsirkan semua penelitian yang tersedia dengan bidang topik fenomena yang menarik, dengan pertanyaan penelitian tertentu yang relevan. Sehingga dengan menggunakan aplikasi ini peneliti dapat mempercepat proses pengumpulan data dari penelitian terdahulu untuk dijadikan sitasi dengan mengambil luaran yang dihasilkan dari perancangan aplikasi berupa tabel dan grafik. Tabel dan grafik yang dihasilkan contohnya adalah tabel dan grafik yang menunjukkan hasil review, referensi antar jurnal, pengaruh autor terhadap topik yang dicari dan sebagainya. Diharapkan dengan adanya aplikasi ini dapat menjadi salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas penulisan jurnal ilmiah.

The number of international journal publications in Indonesia has increased from year to year. From the previous 8,000 publications per year, in 2021 there will be 50 thousand publications per year. Even though the number of publications of Indonesian scientific papers has increased, the citation index or citations are still minimal. This shows that the increase in the quantity of scientific work has not been accompanied by quality. According to Nizam, one of the reasons for the lack of citations in scientific journals is the disease of researchers in Indonesia who are reluctant to view or cite the work of other people. Even though citations are important in writing scientific papers, with citations the author shows readers that there is writing in our scientific work that originates from other people's scientific works. By doing citations we respect the scientific work of others and avoid plagiarism. To overcome this problem, an idea emerged to design a quality assessment tool application that could assist researchers in collecting citations using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. The SLR method itself is used to identify, review, evaluate, and interpret all available research on interesting topical phenomena, with specific relevant research questions. So that by using this application researchers can speed up the process of collecting data from previous studies to be used as citations by taking the outputs resulting from application design in the form of tables and graphs. The resulting tables and graphs, for example, are tables and graphs that show the results of reviews, references between journals, the author's influence on the topics sought and so on. It is hoped that this application can be an effort to improve the quality of scientific journal writing.
