Abstract

Kekerasan terhadap anak merupakan isu sosial yang ada di tengah-tengah masyarakat. Masih banyak yang belum menyadari dampak buruk dari kasus ini. Dalam beberapa kasus, arsitektur ternyata memiliki peran yang membpengaruhi gejala dari fenomena kekerasan anak ini. Dalam rancangan ini, permasalahan yang ingin dipecahkan adalah bagaimana arsitektur dapat mengontrol gejala dari kasus kekerasan anak, dan bagaimana bentuk arsitektur atas respon dari isu ini lewat rancangan RPTRA (Ruang Publik Terpadu Ramah Anak). Rancangan RPTRA Sawahan merupakan sebuah RPTRA yang mengaplikasikan narasi tentang bagaimana orang dewasa melindungi anak-anak dengan pendekatan architecture as a crime control, ergonomis antropometri, dan first principle. Dalam merancang RPTRA Sawahan, Kerangka berpikir yang digunakan adalah Concept based framework dimana konsep utama yang menjadi ide besar dari rancangan ini adalah ruang publik tempat dimana anak dilindungi oleh orang dewasa.

Violence against children is a social issue that exists in society. There are still many who do not realize the negative impact of this case. In some cases, it turns out that architecture has a role that influences the symptoms of this child abuse phenomenon. In this design, the problem to be solved is how architecture can control the symptoms of child abuse cases, and how the architectural form responds to this issue through the RPTRA (Child Friendly Integrated Public Space) design. The Sawahan RPTRA design is an RPTRA that applies narratives about how adults protect children with an architecture as a crime control approach, anthropometric ergonomics, and first principles. In designing RPTRA Sawahan, the framework used is a concept-based framework where the main concept that becomes the big idea of this design is a public space where children are protected by adults.
