Abstract

Gempa bumi merupakan salah satu bencana alam yang dapat yang dapat terjadi, terutama di daerah dekat pertemuan lempeng tektonik seperti Indonesia yang terletak di jalur pertemuan 3 lempeng tektonik. Sehingga diperlukan pencegahan korban, dengan salah satunya mendesain bangunan yang mampu tahan terhadap gempa. Untuk menguji apakah bangunan sesuai karateristik yang diingunkan, dapat digunakan earthquake shaking table (EST) yang mampu menyimulasikan gerakan gempa bumi. Pada penelitian dilakukan perancangan pengendali PID untuk gerak translasi sebuah EST. Konfigurasi pengendali cascade digunakan dengan motor DC beserta pengendalinya sebagai inner loop. Didapatkan nilai Kp, Ki dan Kd untuk inner loop sebesar 1,6, 0,7 dan 0,4 dan untuk set-point perpindahan meja sebesar 1,2, 30 dam 0,001. Nilai RMSE yang didapatkan dengan set-point sinyal sinus sebesar 5,8208, 1,1887, dan 1,8334 untuk frekuensi 0,2 rad/s, 0,33 rad/s dan 1 rad/s dan untuk set-point sinyal sawtooth sebesar 23,383, 8,0821, dan 31,9008

Earthquake is one of natural disaster that can happen, especially on region near the region where tectonic plates meet such as Indonesia where 3 tectonic plates meet. To prevent many people from becoming victims of earthquake, effort such as designing building that can whitstand earthquake. To test the design, it can use earthquake shaking table that can simulate earthquake movement. In this research, PID controller was designed to control translation movement of earthquake shaking table. Cascade controller configuration was used in this system with DC motor and its controller as the inner loop. Kp, Ki and Kd of the inner loop are 1,6, 0,7 and 0,4 and for table displacement are 1,2, 30 dam 0,001. RMSE values that are acquired for sine wave set-point are 5,8208, 1,1887, and 1,8334 for frequency of 0,2 rad/s, 0,33 rad/s and 1 rad/s and for sawtooth wave set-point are 23,383, 8,0821, and 31,9008
