Abstract

Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi tantangan yang dihadapi petani dalam penjualan dan distribusi produk pertanian di era e-commerce. Mayoritas populasi di Indonesia telah terhubung dengan internet dan penggunaan e-commerce telah meningkat secara signifikan. Namun, petani menghadapi berbagai tantangan, salah satunya adalah akses terhadap pasar yang lebih luas dan kesulitan dalam mendistribusikan produknya. Dalam tugas akhir ini, dilakukan pengembangan situs web e-commerce yang menggunakan arsitektur Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). SOA memberikan keuntungan dalam integrasi dengan layanan eksternal seperti pembayaran, opsi pengiriman, dan database. Keuntungan lainnya adalah memberi fleksibilitas dan skalabilitas. Melalui situs web ini, petani dapat memberikan informasi rinci tentang produk pertanian mereka, termasuk asal produk, media tanam, jenis pupuk, dan sebagainya, melalui teks, foto, dan video. Selain itu, pembeli juga dapat memilih produk berdasarkan tanggal panen yang diinginkan. Keuntungan utama dari e-commerce yang dibangun adalah memberikan nilai tambah pada produk petani dan memungkinkan petani untuk mendistribusikan produk secara langsung kepada konsumen. Situs web ini juga mempertimbangkan faktor biaya, durasi, dan kualitas pengiriman produk untuk memenuhi keinginan pemasok dan konsumen. Diharapkan bahwa melalui pengembangan situs web e-commerce ini, petani dapat memperoleh hasil maksimal dari pemasaran produk pertanian mereka dan mengurangi ketergantungan pada pedagang. Selain itu, pemanfaatan pembayaran digital akan memudahkan proses transaksi antara pemasok dan konsumen. Tugas akhir ini berhasil mengembangkan sebuah website e-commerce dengan arsitektur SOA yang membantu petani dalam melakukan penjualan dan pendistribusian produk.

This final project aims to address the challenges faced by farmers in selling and distributing agricultural products in the era of e-commerce. The majority of the population in Indonesia is connected to the internet, and the use of e-commerce has significantly increased. However, farmers face various challenges, one of which is access to broader markets and difficulties in distributing their products. In this final project, the development of an e- commerce website using the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is conducted. SOA provides advantages in integrating with external services such as payment systems, delivery options, and databases. Another benefit is the flexibility and scalability it offers. Through this website, farmers can provide detailed information about their agricultural products, including origin, cultivation methods, fertilizer types, and more, through text, photos, and videos. Additionally, buyers can select products based on desired harvest dates. The main advantage of the developed e-commerce platform is to add value to farmers' products and enable them to directly distribute their products to consumers. The website also considers factors such as cost, duration, and quality of product delivery to meet the needs of suppliers and consumers. It is expected that through the development of this e-commerce website, farmers can maximize the marketing of their agricultural products and reduce their dependence on middlemen. Furthermore, the utilization of digital payments will facilitate transactions between suppliers and consumers. This final project has successfully developed an e-commerce website with an SOA architecture that assists farmers in sales and product distribution.
