Abstract

Seiring perkembangan zaman di era modern ini, ditemukan shifting sosiokultural yang menyebabkan wanita tinggal terpisah dengan orang tuanya. Hal ini menyebabkan mereka kehilangan sosok role model dalam pola asuh anaknya dan cenderung mencari secara online di internet. Kebutuhan yang tinggi akan informasi terkait pola asuh, mendorong meningkatnya kemunculan situs parenting berbasis virtual community yang menawarkan berbagai informasi tentang pola asuh anak, salah satunya adalah platform “Tentang Anak”. “Tentang Anak” merupakan suatu ekosistem parenting terlengkap dan tepercaya di Indonesia yang didirikan sejak tahun 2020 serta telah bermitra dengan BKKBN. Tantangan terbesar dalam mengorganisir virtual community adalah kesediaan anggota untuk saling berbagi ilmu (knowledge sharing). Berdasarkan tujuan untuk mengeksplorasi knowledge sharing behavior dalam virtual community “Tentang Anak”, penelitian ini mengusulkan model berbasis Social Cognitive Theory (SCT) untuk menyelidiki faktor pendorong knowledge sharing behavior seseorang dalam komunitas virtual dari prespektif pribadi dan lingkungan sosial. Terdapat sembilan variabel laten yang digunakan, antara lain knowledge sharing self-efficacy, personal outcome expectation, serta mental health untuk aspek personal cognition, sementara multidimensional trust, subjective norms, dan mutual influence sebagai bagian dari aspek social / environmental. Model penelitian ini menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) untuk menganalisis hubungan intercorrelation pada setiap variabelnya. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel dalam aspek lingkungan sosial tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Knowledge Sharing Behavior, sedangkan variabel yang memiliki pengaruh terbesar terhadap Knowledge Sharing Behavior (perilaku ketika seorang individu bersedia membagikan pengetahuan pada orang lain) adalah Personal Outcome Expectation (reward, lebih banyak teman, merasa lebih dihargai dan dihormati) yang merupakan variabel dari aspek personal. Oleh karena itu, upaya optimasi komunitas “Tentang Anak” sebagai parenting platform perlu mempertimbangkan faktor tersebut.

In modern era, the shifting of sociocultural caused women to live separately from their parents. It effect to lose their role models in parenting their children and tend to look for information on the internet. The need for information related to parenting has encouraged the emergence of virtual community-based parenting sites that offer various information about parenting, one of them is “Tentang Anak” platform. “Tentang Anak” is the most complete and trusted parenting ecosystem in Indonesia which was founded in 2020 and has partnered with BKKBN. The biggest challenge in organizing virtual communities is the willingness of members to share knowledge. Based on the aim to explore knowledge sharing behavior in “Tentang Anak” virtual community, this study proposes a Social Cognitive Theory (SCT)-based model to investigate the driving factors of knowledge sharing behavior in a virtual community from a personal and social environment perspective. There are nine latent variables will be analyzed, including knowledge sharing self-efficacy, personal outcome expectations, and mental health for the personal cognition aspect, while multidimensional trust, subjective norms, and mutual influence are part of the social/environmental aspect. This research model uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to analyze the intercorrelation relationships in each variable. The results of this study indicate that variables in the social environment aspect do not have a significant effect on Knowledge Sharing Behavior, while the variable that has the greatest influence on Knowledge Sharing Behavior (behavior when someone is willing to share knowledge with others) is Personal Outcome Expectation (reward, more friends, feel more valued and respected) which is a variable from the personal aspect. Therefore, efforts to optimize the "Tentang Anak" community as a parenting platform need to consider this factor.
