Abstract

Penggunaan alat alat sensor dalam mendeteksi banjir membutuhkan pengeluaran yang besar dalam segi tenaga, biaya dan waktu seperti melibatkan pemasangan dan perawatan perawatan yang ditbutuhkan, belum terlebih permasalahan terhadap persebaran sensor yang terbatas pada beberapa tempat sehingga masih banyak tempat tempat yang membutuhkan informasi mendadak terkait bencana banjir tetapi belum tercakupi oleh alat sensor tersebut.Dari permasalahan tersebut diajukan untuk memanfaatkan maraknya mobile phone sekarang ini dengan sensor built-innya (lokasi) serta informasi jaringan internet untuk mempekerjakan pekerjaan tradisonal alat sensor ke warga warga lokal sebagai reporter (crowdsourcing) untuk memberitahu ke warga warga sekitar terkait informasi banjir dengan bantuan mekasnime pemasangan pagar virtual pada map digital atau yang disebut geofence, warga warga yang sudah menginstall aplikasi akan menerima notifikasi ketika masuk kedalam pagar virtual
tersebut atau berada dalamnya.

The use of sensor tools in detecting floods requires large expenditures in terms of labor, cost and time such as involving installation and maintenance of the required maintenance, not to mention the problem of the distribution of sensors that are limited to a few places so that there are still many places that need sudden information related to flood disasters but have not been covered by the sensor tool. From these problems, it is proposed to take advantage of the prevalence of mobile phones today with their built-in sensors (location) and internet network information to employ the traditional work of sensor tools to local citizens as reporters (crowdsourcing) to notify local residents regarding flood information with the help of mechanism installing virtual fences on virtual map or so-called geofence, citizens who have installed the application will receive notifications when entering the virtual fence or being in it.
