Abstract

Penyedia jasa pengiriman atau logistik memberikan layanan distribusi produk atau jasa pada aspek transportasi melalui darat, laut ataupun udara. Indonesia sebagai negara maritim, kegiatan logistik mayoritas melalui jalur laut. Digitalisasi layanan diperlukan sebagai bentuk diferiensiasi dan competitive advantage dalam layanan logistik. Linustrans merupakan sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang logistik multimoda transportasi dengan cakupan seluruh Indonesia yang dapat menghadirkan layanan yang total dan terintegrasi. Kondisi pengiriman melalui transportasi maritim saat ini terdapat beberapa permasalahan seperti ketidakpastian jadwal keberangkatan dan tiba kapal, ketidakmampuan untuk dapat memonitor pengiriman, rantai broker yang terlalu panjang, tidak dapat menyediakan pengiriman multimoda transportasi yang terintegrasi antar pulau di Indonesia, dan kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakan mengenai rute dan jadwal kapal yang tersedia serta pemilihan jenis atau tipe kapal yang paling tepat. Diperlukan sebuah inovasi dalam hal ini sebuah sistem yang dapat menjadi platform untuk mempermudah dan memvisualiasikan pengiriman barang menggunakan transportasi maritim secara digital berbasis aplikasi web. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tiga tahap model design thinking yang diusulkan oleh IDEO yaitu inspiration, ideation dan implementation. Dalam pengembangan suatu sistem diperlukan adanya sebuah prototype atau dalam hal ini dapat disebut minimum viable product (MVP). Dari penelitian ini ditemukan ada tiga faktor kebutuhan pelanggan dalam pengiriman barang menggunakan transportasi maritim yaitu transparasi, biaya atau opsi pembayaran dan integrasi. Pada tahap implementation terdapat proses usability testing yang menggunakan feedback capture matrix dan system usability scale dimana hasil yang didapatkan termasuk kategori acceptable. Hasil dari penelitian berupa prototipe produk dengan harapan dapat menjadi pelopor penggunaan digitalisasi yang komprehensif dan mempermudah pelanggan dalam melakukan pengiriman barang melalui transportasi maritim.

Shipping or logistics service providers provide product or service distribution services in the aspect of transportation by land, sea, or air. Indonesia as a maritime country, most logistics activities are by sea. Service digitization is needed as a form of differentiation and competitive advantage in logistics services. Linustrans is a company engaged in multimodal transportation logistics with coverage throughout Indonesia that can provide total and integrated services. The current condition of shipping through maritime transportation has several problems such as uncertainty of ship departure and arrival schedules, inability to monitor shipments, too long broker chains, unable to provide integrated multimodal transportation shipments between islands in Indonesia, and lack of public knowledge about available ship routes and schedules and selection of the most appropriate type or type of ship. An innovation is needed in this case a system that can become a platform to facilitate and visualize the delivery of goods using digital maritime transportation based on web applications. This research uses the three stages of the design thinking model proposed by IDEO: inspiration, ideation, and implementation. In developing a system, a prototype is needed, or it can be called a minimum viable product (MVP). From this research, it was found that there are three factors of customer needs in shipping goods using maritime transportation, namely transparency, cost or payment options and integration. At the implementation stage there is a usability testing process that uses a feedback capture matrix and a system usability scale where the results obtained are in the acceptable category. The results of the research are in the form of product prototypes with the hope of pioneering the use of comprehensive digitization and making it easier for customers to ship goods via maritime transportation.
