Abstract

Manusia dalam menjalani kehidupan sehari-hari memiliki berbagai kebutuhan yang harus dipenuhi. Dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan tersebut akan dihasilkan bahan sisa yang disebut limbah rumah tangga. Limbah rumah tangga kini berkembang seiring dengan perkembangan jumlah penduduk dan jumlah pemukiman yang semakin padat. Perkembangan pariwisata juga menjadi salah satu penyebab limbah rumah tangga yang makin beragam, seperti pembangunan hotel dapat memberikan dampak positif berupa peningkatan lapangan pekerja namun sebaliknya, peningkatan akomodasi wisata dan prasarana pendukung ini, berdampak negatif pada penurunan kualitas lingkungan hal ini dikhawatirkan dapat menyebabkan terbatasnya ruang terbuka. Melihat dari permasalahan yang ada maka, dengan adanya model transportasi laut pengangkut limbah dan hasil limbah cair dapat mengatasi masalah yang terjadi pada Kab. Karimun. Adapun metode yang akan digunakan pada dalam penelitian ini yaitu Linear Programming untuk menentukan rute yang optimal, spiral design untuk menghitung ukuran kapal yang optimal, Analisis Biaya untuk mengetahui rincian biaya yang digunakan. Hasil Analisis yang diharapkan adalah desain konseptual kapal pengangkut limbah dan hasil limbah, pola operasi pengangkutan limbah dan hasil limbah yang ada di Kab. Karimun.

Humans in their daily lives have various needs that must be met. In fulfilling these needs, residual materials called household waste will be produced. Household waste is now growing along with the development of population and the number of increasingly dense settlements. The development of tourism is also one of the causes of an increasingly diverse household waste, such as the construction of hotels which can have a positive impact in the form of increased employment opportunities but conversely, an increase in tourist accommodation and supporting infrastructure has a negative impact on decreasing environmental quality, this is feared to cause limited open space. Seeing from the existing problems, with the existence of a sea transportation model for transporting waste and liquid waste products, it can overcome the problems that occur in Karimun Regency. The method that will be used in this study is the Linear Programing to determine the optimal route, spiral design to calculate the optimal ship size, Cost Analysis to find out the details of the costs used. The expected results of the analysis are the conceptual design of waste and waste transport vessels, the pattern of operations for transporting waste and waste products in Karimun Regency.
