Abstract

Proses bisnis penerimaan kargo untuk terminal domestik masih dilaksanakan secara manual/konvensional. Petugas gate memeriksa surat jalan kargo, dalam bentuk kertas. Arsip dokumen kargo disimpan dalam bentuk kertas. Sementara, pengiriman kargo ke terminal didasari oleh informasi kedatangan kapal dari shipping line. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan proses bisnis receiving kargo baru dan membuat aplikasi sesuai dengan proses bisnis receiving baru yang dapat meningkatkan kinerja operasional perusahaan. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengevaluasi proses bisnis adalah Revision. Metodologi ini digunakan untuk proses reengineering yang dikembangkan dari riset ekstensif, penyebaran perubahan teknologi (technology change deployment), dan mengkonsultasikan pengalaman (consulting experience). Suatu sistem informasi dibuat yang terdiri dari beberapa aplikasi, yaitu : pendaftaran kargo, pemeriksaan kargo, supir terminal dan gate. Dengan diterapkannya proses bisnis receiving kargo dan aplikasi terkait. Perusahaan dapat merencanakan alokasi lapangan penumpukan lebih optimal, dapat secara real time mengetahui posisi kargo, semua aktivitas receiving kargo tersimpan secara digital dan identifikasi supir yang terminal lebih baik.

The business process of receiving cargo for domestic terminals is still carried out manually/conventionally. The gate officer checks the cargo travel document, in paper form. Archives of cargo documents are kept in paper form. Meanwhile, cargo delivery to the terminal is based on ship arrival information from the shipping line. This study aims to develop new cargo receiving business processes and make applications in accordance with new receiving business processes that can improve the company's operational performance. The research method used to evaluate business processes is Revision. This methodology is used for the reengineering process developed from extensive research, technology change deployment, and consulting experience. An information system is made that consists of several applications, namely: cargo registration, cargo inspection, terminal and gate drivers. By implementing cargo receiving business processes and related applications. The company can plan more optimal allocation of storage yards, can know the position of cargo in real time, all cargo receiving activities are stored digitally and better identify terminal drivers.
