Abstract

PLTMG (pembangkit listrik tenaga mesin gas) di PT. Lamong Energi Indonesia diperuntukkan sebagai pembangkit sekunder untuk menggerakkan crane atau alat besar yang digunakan sebagai bisnis petikemas dan curah kering. PLTMG sendiri dioperasikan hanya pada saat waktu beban puncak PLN yaitu pukul 17.00-22.00 WIB. Pada gas engine pasti membutuhkan sistem pendingingan agar engine tidak mengalami overheat, maka terdapat radiator sebagai media pendinginan disana. Untuk mensirkulasikan fluida pendingin tersebut membutuhkan komponen pompa untuk dapat memberikan energi tekan pada fluida agar dapat mendinginkan ke beberapa komponen yang didinginkan, seperti Heat Enchanger dan Intercooler. Dalam proyek ini bertujuan untuk memilih pompa sentrifugal yang sesuai kebutuhan dan merancang impeller yang sesuai dengan standar API 610.Tahapan dalam proyek ini terbagi menjadi tiga : 1) Perhitungan analisis kecepatan fluida, Head efektif instalasi yang dilakukan secara manual dan numerik dengan software pipe flow expert. 2) Pemilihan pompa dilakukan dengan cara memplot hasil dari perhitungan kapasitas dan juga Head efektif instalasi. 3) Perancangan impeller dengan point by point method dimana dilakukan perhitungan terhadap beberapa variable. Hasil pada perhitungan manual meliputi Head efektif, analisis Head yang akan dibandingkan dengan numerik, diharapkan hasil perbandingan <2% agar dapat diteruskan pada tahap pemilihan pompa, lalu pada perhitungan Net Positive Suction Head Available atau NPSHA diharapkan lebih besar dari pada Net Positive Suction Head Required atau NPSHR. (NPSHA > NPSHR) agar dapat dilanjutkan untuk merancang impeller yang sesua standart API 610.Pada hasil perancangan pompa sentrifugal didapatkan pemilihan pompa dengan kapasitas 90

PLTMG (gas engine power plant) in PT. Lamong Energi Indonesia is intended as a secondary plant to drive cranes or large tools used as a container and dry bulk business. PLTMG itself is operated only during the peak load time of PLN, which is 17.00-22.00 WIB. The gas engine definitely needs a cooling system so that the engine does not overheat, so there is a radiator as a cooling medium there. To circulate the cooling fluid requires pump components to be able to provide compressive energy to the fluid so that it can cool to some cooled components, such as the Heat Enchanger and Intercooler. In this project aims to select a centrifugal pump that suits your needs and design an impeller that complies with the API 610 standard. The stages in this project are divided into three: 1) Calculation of fluid velocity analysis, Effective head of installation which is done manually and numerically with pipe flow expert software. 2) The selection of the pump is carried out by plotting the results of the capacity calculation and also the effective head of the installation. 3) Designing the impeller with a point by point method where calculations are carried out on several variables. The results in manual calculations include effective head, head analysis to be compared with numerical, it is expected that the comparison result is <2% so that it can be continued at the pump selection stage, then in the calculation of Net Positive Suction Head Available or NPSH A is expected to be greater than the Net Positive Suction Head Required or NPSHR.
