Abstract

Pipe radiator untuk proses produksi sebagian besar menggunakan mesin berat yang di jalankan oleh operator mulai dari tahap molting sampai ke tahap finishing. Urutan flow proses ini yaitu molting, casting, kalsinasi, cutting, vibrator, deburring, machining, dan finishing. Di dalam proses produksi pipe radiator tidak melakukan tahap assembling di karenakan pada benda ini tidak terdapat bagian dengan perakitan.Pipe radiator merupakan part yang masih dalam tahap development dari perusahaan. Sering terjadi masalah salah satunya yaitu kebocoran. Di samping itu bentuknya melengkung mengakibatkan rentan bocor. Kebanyakan keropos (porosity) yang merupakan permasalahan pengecoran perusahaan dari dulu sampai saat ini yaitu shrinkage dan gas porosity. Shrinkage termasuk keropos yang mengakibatkan permukaan benda tidak merata. Sedangkan gas porosity salah satu keropos yang hanya mengakibatkan satu ataupun beberapa lubang pada benda.

Pipe radiators for the production process mostly use heavy machines which are run by operators starting from the molting stage to the finishing stage. The flow sequence of this process is molting, casting, calcination, cutting, vibrator, deburring, machining, and finishing. In the production process, the radiator pipe does not carry out the assembling stage because this object does not have assembly parts. Pipe radiator is a part that is still in the development stage of the company. Problems often occur, one of which is a leak. In addition, the curved shape makes it prone to leaks. Most of the porous (porosity) which has been a problem with foundry companies from the past until now is shrinkage and gas porosity. Shrinkage is porous which results in an uneven surface. Meanwhile, gas porosity is porous which only results in one or several holes in the object.
