Abstract

Perubahan iklim serta perkembangan hama menjadi dua dari diantara banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan tanaman strawberry. Cuaca ekstrem dapat merusak pertumbuhan tanaman strawberry karena suhu terlalu panas ataupun terlalu dingin. Optimalisasi kondisi iklim yang sesuai mengalami beberapa kendala karena alat dan bahan yang diperlukan kurang memadai. Maka dari itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan kondisi lingkungkan dengan suhu dan kelembaban yang diperlukan oleh tanaman strawberry agar dapat tumbuh secara optimal. Sistem dibuat dengan menggunakan sensor DHT11 sebagai pendeteksi suhu dan kelembaban, mikrokontroller ESP32 sebagai kontrol terhadap masukan serta keluaran dan menggunakan aktuator Fan DC serta humidifier sebagai alat pengontrol lingkungan didalam greenhouse. Terdapat 2 setpoint yakni 23°C untuk suhu dan 95% untuk kelembaban. Pengukuran data dilakukan selama 30 hari setiap 2 jam sekali. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan kondisi yang optimal dimana suhu terjaga dengan nilai rata-rata 22,98°C untuk suhu dan 94,93% untuk kelembaban.

Climate change and the development of pests are two of the many factors that affect the growth of strawberry plants. Extreme weather can damage the growth of strawberry plants because the temperature is too hot or too cold. Optimization of suitable climatic conditions experienced several obstacles because the tools and materials needed were inadequate. Therefore this study aims to optimize environmental conditions with the temperature and humidity needed by strawberry plants so that they can grow optimally. The system is made by using the DHT11 sensor as a temperature and humidity detector, the ESP32 microcontroller as a control for input and output and using a DC Fan actuator and a humidifier as an environmental control device in the greenhouse. There are 2 setpoints, namely 23°C for temperature and 95% for humidity. Data measurements were carried out for 30 days every 2 hours. The results of this study indicate optimal conditions where the temperature is maintained with an average value of 22.98°C for temperature and 94.93% for humidity.
