Abstract

Indoor home gardening is an activity that is currently widely practiced in urban areas. This is due to the lack of land in urban areas so that many people in urban areas do farming activities with minimum space. Plants that are grown indoors certainly have many variables that need to be maintained such as sunlight and water needs. Therefore, in this final project, a system to control soil moisture and light intensity will be designed. The light intensity control system is done by controlling the dim light of the LED strip using an automatic dimmer. Meanwhile, the soil moisture control system will use a pump to do automatic watering and a fan to dry the soil that is too wet. From the results of the research conducted, the average percentage error for the soil moisture sensor is 4.167% and the accuracy is 95.833%. As for the light intensity sensor, the error is 3.6% and the accuracy is 96.4%.
