Abstract

Toilet vakum adalah jenis toilet yang menggunakan sistem vakum untuk menghilangkan limbah manusia dan cairan dari toilet. Sistem vakum menggunakan perbedaan tekanan antara udara di dalam pipa dan udara didalam tangki limbah untuk memindahkan limbah dari toilet ke tangki limbah. Toilet vakum digunakan dikapal, pesawat terbang, kereta api, gedung perkantoran, dan tempat lain. Sistem yang akan dikontrol yaitu tekanan terhadap pengunaan toilet vakum dengan kebutuhan yang bisa membuat proses kerja berjalan dengan baik. Untuk kontroler yang digunakan yaitu PLC sebagai kontrol dan menggunakan sensor pressure transmitter skala -1-0Bar. Sinyal yang dikeluarkan oleh pressure transmitter 0.5-4.5V. Setelah itu PLC akan melakukan proses pendataan dan akan memberikan sinyal output terhadap aktuator. Sinyal output yang dikeluarkan dari PLC yaitu DC24V. Solenoid Valve merupakan aktuator yang mempunyai fungsi sebagai membuka dan menutup aliran air, angin, dan kotoran. Pada penelitian ini Rancang Bangun Sistem Kontrol Toilet Vakum Berbasis PLC di PT.Rekaindo Global Jasa Untuk Implementasi Pada Gerbong Kereta Api dapat meningkatkan penghematan pemakaian air serta tekanan nilai digunakan -70 cmHg

Vacuum toilet is a type of toilet that uses a vacuum system to remove human waste and fluids from the toilet. The suction system uses the pressure difference between the air in the pipes and the air in the waste tank to move waste from the toilet to the waste tank. Vacuum toilets are used on ships, airplanes, trains, office buildings and other places. The system to be controlled is the pressure on using a toilet plunger with the need to make the work process run well. The controller used is PLC as a control and uses a pressure transmitter sensor on a scale of -1-0Bar. The signal output by the pressure transmitter is 0.5-4.5V. After that the PLC will carry out the data collection process and will provide an output signal to the actuator. The output signal issued from the PLC is DC24V. Solenoid Valve is an actuator that has a function as opening and closing the flow of water, wind, and sewage. In this study, the design of a PLC-based vacuum toilet control system at PT.Rekaindo Global Jasa for implementation on railroad cars can increase air usage savings and the pressure value used is -70 cmHg
