Abstract
Pompa merupakan salah satu alat transportasi fluida pada berbagai industri dan rumah tangga, dimana pompa sentrifugal banyak digunakan karena kesederhanaannya, rendah pemeliharaan, dan laju aliran tinggi. Pemangkasan diameter impeler dan pengaturan putaran kecepatan impeler adalah dua metode yang dapat digunakan untuk mengubah efisiensi pompa. Itu desain dan pengoperasian pompa melibatkan berbagai prinsip teknik. Penelitian eksperimental ini dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja pompa terhadap impeller trimming dan kecepatan putaran impeler. Ada lima variasi diameter impeler dan dua variasi kecepatan rotasi yang diuji dalam percobaan ini. Pengujian ini dilakukan dengan cara menghubungkan pompa sentrifugal airlux cpm 130 dengan inverter VFD dan perakitan CUSSONS kerugian gesekan pada peralatan pipa. Hasilnya adalah pemangkasan impeler dan pengurangan putaran kecepatan akan menurunkan nilai head. Berdasarkan pengujian terhadap lima variasi impeler dan dua variasi kecepatan putar, diperoleh impeller dengan diameter 120 mm menunjukkan efisiensi tertinggi sebesar 36,34% pada 2850 rpm. Untuk kecepatan putaran 1500 rpm, efisiensi tertinggi diperoleh pada diameter impeller 126 mm yaitu sebesar 18,75%

Pumps are one of the equipment for fluid transportation in various industries and households, where the centrifugal pumps being widely used due to their simplicity, low maintenance, and high flow rate. Trimming of the impeller diameter and adjusting the rotational speed of the impeller are two methods that can be used to modify the pump's efficiency. The design and operation of pumps involve various engineering principles. This experimental study was conducted to evaluate the performance of the pump against the impeller trimming and impeller rotation speed. There are five variations of impeller diameters and two variations of rotational speeds that were tested in this experiment. This test was carried out by connecting the airlux cpm 130 centrifugal pump with the VFD inverter and assembling the CUSSONS friction loss in pipe apparatus. The result is trimming the impeller and reducing the rotational speed will decrease the head value. Based on the examination of five impeller variations and two rotational speed variations, it has been obtained that the impeller with a diameter of 120 mm exhibits the highest efficiency of 36.34% at 2850 rpm. For a rotational speed of 1500 rpm, the highest efficiency is obtained at an impeller diameter of 126 mm which is 18.75
