Abstract

CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) adalah sebuah sistem transmisi yang digunakan pada motor matic. Transmisi CVT terdiri dari beberapa komponen yaitu puli primer, bushing, roller weight, cam slider, puli sekunder, per cvt, kampas kopling, torsi cam, belt, gigi reduksi, . Roller weight berperan penting dalam transmisi cvt, berat roller mempengaruhi perputaran mesin dalam penyaluran menuju roda belakang. Semakin ringan beban roller weight maka semakin cepat roller terlempar menuju sisi luar pulley dengan begitu semakin cepat juga tenaga mesin tersalurkan menuju roda belakang. Begitu juga sebaliknya, semakin berat roller weight maka semakin berat roller terlempar sehingga membutuhkan rpm yang lebih tinggi untuk menggerakkan roda belakang. Dengan penggunaan roller weight ringan cocok digunakan untuk penggunaan dalam kota yang macet, karena sangat membantu apabila dalam kondisi stop n go atau jalan yang menanjak. Sedangkan penggunaan roller weight yang lebih berat cocok digunakan untuk kebutuhan touring atau jalan yang jauh dan panjang. Perubahan beban roller weight mempengaruhi perubahan torsi dan daya kendaraan, oleh sebab itu penelitian ini dilakukan diatas mesin uji Dynotest SuperDyno 50L BRT untuk mendapatkan perubahan hasil dan angka yang spesifik dari masing-masing roller weight. Hasil uji eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa roller terbaik didapatkan pada varian berat roller 11 gram. Karena, memiliki jarak tempuh yang lebih jauh (52,8 km/L) dari varian roller standart, dan memiliki titik puncak torsi lebih rendah (putaran mesin 7000 rpm) dengan hasil torsi yang lebih tinggi (9,46 Nm).

CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) is a transmission system used on automatic motorbikes. The CVT transmission consists of several components, namely the primary pulley, bushing, roller weight, cam slider, secondary pulley, CVT spring, clutch lining, torque cam, belt, reduction gear, . Roller weight plays an important role in CVT transmission, roller weight affects engine rotation in channeling to the rear wheels. The lighter the roller weight, the faster the roller is thrown towards the outer side of the pulley, so the faster the engine power is channeled to the rear wheels. and the heavier the roller weight, the heavier the roller is thrown, so it requires a higher rpm to move the rear wheels. With the use of a light roller weight, it is suitable for use in traffic jams, because it is very helpful when in stop n go conditions or uphill roads. Meanwhile, the use of a heavier roller weight is suitable for touring needs or long and long roads. Changes in roller weight load affect changes in vehicle torque and power, therefore this research was conducted on a Dynotest SuperDyno 50L BRT test machine to obtain changes in results and specific numbers for each roller weight. The experimental test results showed that the best roller was obtained in the 11 gram roller weight variant. Because, it has a longer distance than the standard roller variant (52,8 km/L), and has a lower torque peak point with higher torque results (9,46 Nm)
