Abstract

Pentingnya pengelolaan Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (K3) menjadi fokus dari industri saat ini, dikarenakan banyaknya historis kecelakaan kerja akibat kurangnya pengimplementasian safety management. Process Safety Management (PSM) merupakan suatu pendekatan sistematis terkait K3 untuk mengidentifikasi, mengevaluasi, dan mengendalikan potensi bahaya pada sebuah proses industri yang sekiranya dapat menyebabkan kecelakaan yang merugikan manusia, lingkungan, ataupun properti. PSM sangat penting bagi industri, khususnya industri kimia, karena kecelakaan di industri kimia dapat menyebabkan kerugian yang sangat besar baik dari segi finansial maupun kemanusiaan. Dalam sebuah industri, PSM harus diterapkan dengan benar agar dapat memberikan manfaat yang maksimal. PSM memiliki banyak versi publikasi yang digunakan di sebagian besar industri, seperti OSHA, DuPont, CCPS, dan versi lainnya. PSM tersebut memiliki elemen yang berbeda-beda tiap versinya, dari segi jumlah elemen dan konten di dalamnya, kebijakan, dan juga prosedur operasional process safety. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini berfokus kepada perusahaan di industri geothermal yang dalam kondisi eksistingnya belum memiliki acuan dalam standar PSM terkait manajemen keselamatan proses. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan alternatif standar PSM terbaik yang dapat disesuaikan terhadap kebutuhan dan keinginan perusahaan dalam menunjang pengelolaan manajemen keselamatan. Dalam penentuan versi PSM ini, akan dilakukan dengan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) sebagai penilaian prioritas dari kriteria dan sub-kriteria dari tiap alternatif PSM.

The importance of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) management is the focus of industry today, due to the many historical work accidents due to the lack of safety management implementation. Process Safety Management (PSM) is a systematic approach related to OHS to identify, evaluate, and control potential hazards in an industrial process that could cause accidents that harm humans, the environment, or property. PSM is very important for industry, especially the chemical industry, because accidents in the chemical industry can cause enormous losses both in terms of financial and humanity. In an industry, PSM must be implemented correctly in order to provide maximum benefits. PSM has many versions of publications that are used in most industries, such as OSHA, DuPont, CCPS, and other versions. The PSM has different elements for each version, in terms of the number of elements and content in it, policies, and also process safety operational procedures. Therefore, this research focuses on companies in the geothermal industry that in their existing conditions do not have a reference in the PSM standard related to process safety management. The purpose of this research is to determine the best alternative PSM standard that can be adjusted to the needs and desires of the company in supporting safety management. In determining this PSM version, the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method will be used as a priority assessment of the criteria and sub-criteria of each PSM alternative.
