Abstract

Direktorat Jenderal Kekayaan Intelektual (DJKI) mencatat jumlah kerugian negara akibat pelanggaran Kekayaan Intelektual (KI) sejak 2015-2020 sebesar 291 triliun rupiah. Hingga saat ini, Indonesia juga masih berada dalam daftar Priority Watch List sebagai negara yang memiliki tingkat pelanggaran KI yang berat. Pemahaman terhadap Hak Kekayaan Intelektual menjadi penting terlebih pada era ekonomi digital seperti saat ini. Tujuan akhirnya adalah agar dapat tercipta ekosistem kekayaan intelektual yang terdiri dari unsur kreasi, proteksi, dan utilisasi sehingga mampu menghadapi tantangan dan peluang ekonomi kreatif guna mendorong pengembangan ekonomi nasional. Pengenalan HKI dengan metode yang mudah melalui animasi eksplanasi yang dikemas secara menarik dan informatif diharapkan dapat mengenalkan konsep HKI kepada masyarakat terutama untuk remaja. Proses perancangan dimulai dengan studi eksperimental yang menghasilkan naskah video dilanjutkan dengan proses depth interview bersama ahli HKI dan scriptwriter untuk mendapatkan saran terkait penulisan naskah. Proses selanjutnya dilakukan pengembangan naskah menjadi storyboard lalu dilanjutkan menjadi prototipe video eksplanasi yang kemudian menjadi bahan diskusi bersama motion graphic designer melalui depth interview 2. Tahap selanjutnya dilakukan perbaikan pada video eksplanasi berdasar masukan ahli. Luaran perancangan melewati tahap pengujian kepada target audiens melalui kuesioner. Hasil pengujian akan menjadi bahan evaluasi untuk pengembangan luaran final. Video eksplanasi ini memaparkan informasi mengenai pengetahuan dasar Hak Kekayaan Intelektual seperti pengetian, jenis-jenis, dan contoh yang dikemas secara ringkas dan mudah berbentuk animasi motion graphic. Perancangan ini dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif media pengenalan HKI untuk remaja. Hasil luaran video akan disalurkan melalui media YouTube untuk dapat menjangkau target audiens dan juga media distribusi lain seperti Instagram. Hadirnya video eksplanasi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman remaja usia 15-18 tahun terhadap Hak Kekayaan Intelektual.

The Directorate General of Intellectual Property of Indonesia recorded that the amount of state losses due to Intellectual Property violations from 2015-2020 was IDR 291 trillion. Until now, Indonesia is still on the Priority Watch List as a country with a high level of intellectual property violations. Understanding of Intellectual Property Rights is especially important in the digital economy era as it is today. The ultimate goal is to create an intellectual property ecosystem consisting of elements of creation, protection and utilization so that it is able to face challenges and opportunities in the creative economy to encourage national economic development. The introduction of Intellectual Property Rights with an easy method through explanation video that are packaged in an interesting and informative way is expected to introduce the concept of Intellectual Property Rights to the public, especially for teenagers. The design process begins with an experimental study that produces a video script followed by a depth interview process with IPR experts and scriptwriters to get suggestions regarding script writing. The next process was to develop the script into a storyboard and then proceed to become an explanation video prototype which later became material for discussion with the motion graphic designer through depth interview 2. The next stage was to make improvements to the explanation video based on expert input. The design output will pass through the testing phase to the target audience via a questionnaire. The test results will be an evaluation for the development of the final output. This explanation video provides information about basic knowledge of Intellectual Property Rights such as definitions, classification, and examples which are packaged in a concise and easy-to-use motion graphic animation. This design can be used as an alternative medium for introducing IPR for teenagers. The output of the design will be channeled through YouTube to reach the target audience and also other distribution media such as Instagram. It is hoped that the presence of this explanation video can increase the understanding of teenagers aged 15-18 years about Intellectual Property Rights.
