Abstract

Sebagai perusahaan produsen kereta api, PT. XYZ menetapkan target untuk menghasilkan produk berkualitas dengan menguasai manajemen teknologi. Salah satu proses produksi kereta api di PT. XYZ adalah steel working, yang mengolah lembaran logam melalui proses pemotongan dan penekukan. Mayoritas mesin-mesin produksi utama sudah memiliki umur tua dan sering mengalami breakdown. PT. XYZ melakukan aktivitas corrective dan preventive untuk pemeliharaan mesin dengan menjadwalkan Preventive Maintenance (PM) setiap bulan sehingga kegiatan maintenance dirasa kurang tepat sasaran. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, dilakukan identifikasi mesin-mesin kritis, perhitungan reliabilitas mesin dan failure metrics. Sebagai solusi, digunakan kerangka Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) II untuk penjadwalan dan model penjadwalan berdasarkan konsep proactive maintenance task. Maintenance task disesuaikan dengan perhitungan reliabilitas dan hasil dari maintenance task adalah scheduled restoration task, scheduled discard task, dan failure finding task. Rekomendasi akhir adalah penyusunan jadwal berdasarkan reliabilitas dan MTTR menggunakan metode preventive maintenance dan failure finding task untuk disusun menjadi kalender pemeliharaan dalam kurun 1 tahun.

As a railway manufacturing company, PT. XYZ sets targets to produce quality products by mastering technology management. One of the train production processes at PT. XYZ is steel working, which processes sheet metal through a cutting and bending process. The majority of major production machines already have an old age and often experience breakdowns. PT. XYZ carries out corrective and preventive activities for machine maintenance by scheduling Preventive Maintenance (PM) every month so that maintenance activities are considered less targeted. To overcome these problems, identification of critical machines, calculation of engine reliability and failure metrics are carried out. As a solution, the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) II framework is used for scheduling and scheduling models based on the concept of proactive maintenance tasks. Maintenance tasks are adjusted to the calculation of reliability and the results of maintenance tasks are scheduled restoration tasks, scheduled discard tasks, and failure finding tasks. The final recommendation is the preparation of a schedule based on reliability and MTTR using preventive maintenance and failure finding task methods to be compiled into a maintenance calendar within 1 year.
