Abstract
3D Printing merupakan sebuah terobosan baru dalam dunia teknologi. Teknologi 3D Printing merupakan proses pembuatan atau pencetakan benda padat (dimensi tiga) yang sering disebut additive process. Pada teknologi 3D Printing ini produk dibuat atau dicetak berdasarkan lapis demi lapis (layer by layer) dengan serangkaian cross sectional slices. Mesin 3D print ini juga memiliki bermacam-macam variasi atau jenis. Hal ini dikarenakan kemampuan dari setiap mesin 3D print itu sendiri juga berbeda-beda. Artifact test adalah salah satu cara yang dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui kemampuan dari masing-masing mesin 3D print.
Dalam melakukan artifact test diperlukan beberapa tahapan, mulai dari studi literatur terkait penelitian terlebih dahulu dan juga studi lapangan untuk mengetahui mesin 3D print seperti apa yang akan digunakan. Setelah studi dilakukan dilanjutkan pembuatan desain artifact test. Desain tersebut kemudian diberikan setting pada slicer dengan parameter tertentu yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan penelitian. Setelah itu desain model akan dicetak dengan menggunakan mesin 3D print. Hasil dari desain model cetak nanti akan diberikan pengujian untuk mengetahui kemampuan dari mesin 3D print. Dalam penelitian ini telah didapatkan perbandingan data dan nilai terkait keakuratan dimensi dari mesin 3D print, serta terkait kekasaran permukaan yang dihasilkan.
Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keakuratan dimensi hasil cetak yang diukur secara manual memiliki selisih nilai 0,01 mm hingga 0,56 mm, dan untuk diukur secara scanning memiliki selisih hingga 0,5 mm. Kemudian selisih untuk nilai flatness 0,354 s.d. 0,419 mm, perpendicularity sebesar 0,407 s.d. 0,866 mm, parallelism sebesar 0,338 s.d. 0,948 mm, concentricity sebesar 0,289 s.d. 0,568 mm, cylindricity sebesar 0,274 s.d. 0,381 mm, circularity sebesar 0,249 s.d. 0,343 mm, angularity sebesar 0,084 s.d. 0,275 mm. Sedangkan untuk nilai kekasaran permukaannya memiliki tingkat kekasaran yang bervariasi. Tingkat kekasaran pada profil Diamond dan Block Y memiliki nilai 2,169 s.d. 3,049 μm. Lalu pada profil Base, Semicircle, dan Block X memiliki nilai 3,939 s.d. 8,204 μm.

3D Printing is a new breakthrough in the world of technology. 3D Printing technology is a process of making or printing solid objects (three dimensions) which is often called an additive process. In this 3D Printing technology, products are made or printed on a layer by layer basis with cross sectional slices. This 3D print machine also has various variations or types. This is because the capabilities of each 3D printer machine itself are also different. Artifact test is one way that can be used to determine the capabilities of each 3D print machine.
In carrying out the artifact test, several stages are required, starting from a literature study related to prior research and also field studies to find out what kind of 3D printing machine will be used. After the study was carried out, the artifact test design was continued. The design is then given settings on the slicer with certain parameters that are adjusted to the needs of the research. After that the model design will be printed using a 3D printing machine. The results of the printed model design will later be tested to determine the capabilities of the 3D printing machine.
The results of this study indicate that the dimensional accuracy of prints measured manually has a difference in value of 0.01 mm to 0.56 mm, and when measured by scanning it has a difference of up to 0.5 mm. Then the difference for the flatness value is 0.354 to.d. 0.419 mm, perpendicularity of 0.407 to.d. 0.866 mm, parallelism of 0.338 to.d. 0.948 mm, concentricity of 0.289 to.d. 0.568 mm, cylindricity of 0.274 to.d. 0.381 mm, circularity of 0.249 to.d. 0.343 mm, angularity of 0.084 to.d. 0.275mm. As for the value of surface roughness has varying levels of roughness. The roughness level on the Diamond and Block Y profiles has a value of 2.169 to.d. 3.049 μm. Then the Base, Semicircle and Block X profiles have a value of 3.939 to.d. 8.204 μm.
