Abstract
Penelitian ini menyajikan pengembangan dan implementasi aplikasi perangkat lunak berbasis web, ProcuraTech, untuk "Asset inspection life cycle and procurement management" di perusahaan galangan kapal. Tujuannya adalah untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas manajemen suku cadang dan proses pemeliharaan kapal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki manfaat mengintegrasikan perangkat lunak dengan basis data inventaris suku cadang perusahaan dan mengevaluasi dampaknya terhadap visibilitas inventaris, pengurangan kesalahan manusia, dan kemampuan pemantauan pemeliharaan. Temuan penelitian mendukung hipotesis bahwa integrasi ProcuraTech dengan basis data inventaris suku cadang perusahaan galangan kapal meningkatkan visibilitas inventaris. Perangkat lunak ini memberi perusahaan visibilitas yang lebih besar ke dalam inventaris suku cadang mereka, memungkinkan pelacakan yang lebih mudah terhadap inventaris yang tersedia dan estimasi kebutuhan pengisian ulang. Hal ini berkontribusi dalam meminimalkan risiko kehilangan inventaris atau kelebihan stok, sehingga menghasilkan manajemen suku cadang yang lebih efisien. Selain itu, pendekatan terstruktur dan terorganisir dari perangkat lunak ini dalam mengatur kegiatan inspeksi dan pemeliharaan kapal mengurangi risiko kesalahan manusia dan kehilangan informasi. Dengan memandu pengguna melalui proses inspeksi dan pemeliharaan, perangkat lunak ini memastikan pencatatan dan pelacakan aktivitas yang akurat, sehingga meningkatkan akurasi dan efektivitas proses pemeliharaan secara keseluruhan. Selain itu, fitur perangkat lunak untuk melacak aktivitas pemeliharaan memfasilitasi pemantauan dan penjadwalan riwayat pemeliharaan kapal. Hal ini memungkinkan perusahaan untuk mengambil tindakan pencegahan atau perbaikan tepat waktu, meminimalkan risiko kerusakan yang lebih besar dan biaya yang lebih tinggi di masa depan. Kemampuan pencatatan dan pelaporan perangkat lunak ini juga memungkinkan pelacakan kinerja kapal dari waktu ke waktu, mendukung pengambilan keputusan terkait pemeliharaan dan pengadaan suku cadang. Keberhasilan implementasi ProcuraTech menunjukkan potensinya untuk meningkatkan "Asset inspection life cycle and procurement management ". Peluang penelitian di masa depan mencakup integrasi lebih lanjut dengan sistem eksternal, menggabungkan kecerdasan buatan dan analitik prediktif, mengoptimalkan pengalaman pengguna, melakukan evaluasi kinerja, dan mengeksplorasi penerapan di industri lain. Implementasi perangkat lunak berbasis web, ProcuraTech, telah menunjukkan manfaat yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan visibilitas inventaris, mengurangi kesalahan manusia, dan meningkatkan kemampuan pelacakan pemeliharaan dalam siklus hidup inspeksi aset perusahaan galangan kapal dan manajemen pengadaan. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi pada bidang manajemen aset dan menyoroti potensi pemanfaatan perangkat lunak tersebut untuk meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan penghematan biaya.

This paper presents the development and implementation of a web-based software application, ProcuraTech, for asset inspection life cycle and procurement management in a shipyard company. The objective was to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of spare parts management and ship maintenance processes. The study aimed to investigate the benefits of integrating the software with the company's spare parts inventory database and evaluate its impact on inventory visibility, human error reduction, and maintenance tracking capabilities. The research findings supported the hypothesis that the integration of ProcuraTech with the shipyard company's spare parts inventory database improved inventory visibility. The software provided the company with greater visibility into their spare parts inventory, enabling easier tracking of available inventory and estimation of replenishment needs. This contributed to minimizing the risk of inventory loss or overstocking, resulting in more efficient spare parts management. Furthermore, the software's structured and organized approach to organizing ship inspection and maintenance activities reduced the risk of human error and information loss. By guiding users through the inspection and maintenance process, the software ensured accurate recording and tracking of activities, enhancing the overall accuracy and reliability of maintenance processes. Moreover, the software's features for tracking maintenance activities facilitated the monitoring and scheduling of ship maintenance history. This allowed the company to take timely preventive or corrective action, minimizing the risk of larger damages and higher costs in the future. The software's recording and reporting capabilities also enabled tracking of ship performance over time, supporting decision making related to maintenance and spare parts procurement. The successful implementation of ProcuraTech demonstrated its potential for improving asset inspection life cycle and procurement management. Future research opportunities include further integration with external systems, incorporating artificial intelligence and predictive analytics, optimizing user experience, conducting performance evaluations, and exploring applicability in other industries. The implementation of the web-based software, ProcuraTech, has shown significant benefits in improving inventory visibility, reducing human error, and enhancing maintenance tracking capabilities in the shipyard company's asset inspection life cycle and procurement management. The findings contribute to the field of asset management and highlight the potential of utilizing such software to enhance operational efficiency and cost savings.
