Abstract

The procurement department is a strategic part because it manages relationships with suppliers. To establish good relationships with suppliers, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) is needed to assist in designing strategies that suit each supplier, because each supplier has different goods and characteristics. The strategy design that will be used in this final project research is to use the integration of the two Purchasing Portfolio Matrix (PPM) and Supplier Potential Matrix (SPM) approaches or what is commonly called the PPM-SPM hybrid model. Supplier segmentation by combining PPM and SPM will combine segmentation based on goods supplied by suppliers and the potential of each supplier. The position of the segmentation used in this study will be divided into four for the PPM matrix to assess the goods supplied and for each segment the PPM is divided again into four for the SPM matrix, namely supplier assessment. In this study, the Best Worst Method (BWM) was used to determine the mixed weights needed for both segmentation approaches. Furthermore, the target score is carried out based on 20 criteria that have been agreed upon for each supplier assessed, namely as many as 55 suppliers. The results of data processing will be segmented using the PPM-SPM hybrid model. From the results of segmentation, the majority are segmented as suppliers of strategic goods and there are already many suppliers who have high capability and high willingness.
